Ferrari 360 Spider European White Convertible This is the one you’ve been waiting for and hoping for. Extremely rare (one of a kind!) absolutely stunning European White Ferrari 360 Spider. Ferrari offered white only in its European cars. This car was custom ordered and shipped directly from Italy, so chances are you will never see another 2001 factory white 360 anywhere in the United States. As a European model it has more horsepower and headlamp washers that were not available on cars made for the American market. As you can see from the photos, the gorgeous white exterior with blue top and blue/silver interior is an amazing color combination. It turns heads wherever it goes! This spectacular vehicle has been meticulously maintained with complete service records (including a $10,000 service a few months ago) and is always garage-kept. I am sad to have to part with it, but I am moving to a very cold climate and can’t take it with me--it wouldn’t be fair to the car to keep it in the garage 10 months out of the year! Race Recap: 2014 Australian Grand Prix quietly opens the new F1 era [spoilers]
Sun, 16 Mar 2014The first chapter of the new Formula One era has been written with the conclusion of the Australian Grand Prix, and it included a rookie rush, some resurgent and some unsurprising performances, the sound of screeching tires and a couple of firsts.
Outside predictions as to the pace of the Mercedes AMG Petronas team were proved as soon as the Friday practice sessions, with Lewis Hamilton recovering from an engine sensor fault in the first session to top the second, followed by teammate Nico Rosberg. That didn't change come the start of qualifying, not even the rain slowing down the Silver Arrows, Hamilton taking pole as the last man across the line in Q3.
The surprises were in the order behind him, with new Infiniti Red Bull Racing man Daniel Ricciardo grabbing second spot just three-tenths of a second down on Hamilton. Ricciardo not only looked like he belonged at the front of the grid the entire weekend, but he seems to have reversed the Mark Webber jinx: four-time World Champion Sebastian Vettel had car issues and didn't get into Q3, having to settle for 13th on the grid.
Ferrari to pay Fiat Chrysler $2.8B prior to spinoff
Sat, 15 Nov 2014Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is trying to get capital together in a hurry to finance the automaker's growth plans. Among its strategies to raise money, Ferrari will be spun off from the FCA mothership next year with an initial public offering. However, the Italian supercar maker will be a couple billion dollars poorer at the start of its new life.
According to a filing with US regulators obtained by Automotive News, FCA intends to "enter into certain other transactions including distributions and transfers of cash from Ferrari currently estimated at 2.25 billion euros ($2.8 billion)" before it spins the supercar maker off. Those funds might include paying a dividend to investors, and FCA possibly transferring some of its debt to the Prancing Horse.
The Ferrari IPO will likely be in the second or third quarter of 2015, according to Automotive News. Ten percent of the automaker will go onto the public market in the US and possibly Europe too, and 80 percent will be distributed among current FCA shareholders. The other 10 percent is held by co-chairman Piero Ferrari, according to AN.

It's alarmingly easy to damage a car in the tight, elevated confines of a dedicated car hauler, but as these gentlemen at the Monterey car week found out, even getting a car off a flatbed comes with its own unique set of challenges.
When the car you're moving off said flatbed is the only Ferrari P4/5 Competizione in existence, meticulously built to the specifications of Ferrari collector James Glickenhaus, we imagine the stress level is even greater. Yes, this is an unloading gone wrong, although it could have always been worse. The movers have the right idea, working boards underneath the car, but simply didn't account for the car moving them. The result is a racecar, resting ever so gracefully, on its carbon-fiber nose. Getting the car out of such a precarious position safely requires nearly as much skill as getting it off in the first place.
