1999 Ferrari 360 Previously Celebrity Owned on 2040-cars
Rutherford, New Jersey, United States
This 1999 Ferrari 360 is being auctioned to the highest bidder. The car was
acquired from Southern California March 2009 with around 14500 miles. The car
has Stradale like full suede interior with suede racing seats. Service was completed
just before attaining the car done by RMT Motor Sports in Yorba Linda, CA at
14438 miles in Feb 2009. The replacement of cam belts and drive belts were
completed at this time, along with other service. When the car was received from
the shipper in March 2009 it was fit with a RoadBlock NY Protection Film on the
hood, bumper, fender and door edges. The car was previously owned by
celebrity actor Paul Walker, with all the documentation to prove it. The AZ
clean title is still in Paul Walker's name and is free and clear of any liens.
Carfax indicated that the car has never been involved in a collision. The car
does have a scratch on the right side bumper/quarter. It has a Stradale grill,
with an aftermarket radio. The car is always garaged and is driven on the
weekends while never seeing snow or rain. The winner of the auction is required
to give a $1,500 non-refundable deposit within 24 hours of winning the car, and car must be payed for in full one week from auction finalized. Please
contact through ebay to talk further about the vehicle if you have any questions
regarding the car before you bid. Looking to make this sale very easy regarding
any other questions, concerns, shipping. I reserve the right to end auction at
any time, as car is being sold locally. Vin: ZFFYR51B000116318

Pranked angry Ferrari owner says urine trouble now, man!
Tue, 16 Apr 2013A good rule to live by is that you should never mess with another man's car, but Roman Atwood learned that you probably shouldn't even pretend with another man's ride... especially when it's a Ferrari 360 Modena. The internet prankster was trying to perform a little handicap parking spot justice by acting as if he were urinating on an Italian supercar that he felt was illegally parked.
Needless to say, the owner of the car was not amused by Atwood's antics, proceeding to shove him, shout obscenities and even yell, "I could buy your whole family." Both men seem like real class acts. Check out the prank-gone-wrong below.
Race Recap: 2013 German Grand Prix is old beginnings, new endings [spoilers]
Mon, 08 Jul 2013Just like at Silverstone last weekend, the German Formula One Grand Prix started with Lewis Hamilton putting his Mercedes-AMG Petronas on pole. The only thing missing at the pointy end of the grid was his teammate Nico Rosberg, who lined up beside him in England but back in 11th in Germany because of a team error in qualifying. So instead it was Vettel in the first Infiniti Red Bull in second, his teammate Mark Webber in third, the Lotus duo of Kimi Räikkönen and Romain Grosjean.
Again, just like at Silverstone - and Canada - Daniel Ricciardo used his magic beans to impress with the Toro Rosso, lining up in sixth, followed by Felipe Massa in the first Ferrari, Fernando Alonso in the second. Jenson Button in the McLaren, Nico Hülkenberg finished up the top ten.
When the lights went green, it didn't take long for the race to become a black-and-blue affair...
Ferrari FF coupe plans found in European patent application
Fri, 11 Oct 2013The FF is quite a departure for Ferrari - it's the company's first hatchback and all-wheel-drive vehicle - so it isn't surprising that it rubs some people the wrong way, even if the car itself is very good. Well, judging from these patent drawings of what looks like a FF coupe filed with the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM), Ferrari has plans to build one.
We're not sure if Ferrari is planning a production run, however, and it's very possible this is a one-off special being built for a very rich customer, a la Eric Clapton and his 458 Italia. Patent drawings of Clapton's special 458 were filed with OHIM before it was finished, as well.
We think the regular FF is a good-looking car as is, but would welcome a coupe version if it looked like the one in these drawings. It could be a great alternative to the F12 Berlinetta for people who want all-wheel drive and a lower profile.
