We are offering this awesome 2004 Dodge Viper SRT-10 for sale. This car has all the normal viper standard options as well as a few upgrades. The suspension has been lowered 2 inches using Eibach springs and the aluminum spring caps, the exhaust has been replaced with the incredible Corsa cat back exhaust, the flywheel is lightweight aluminum mad by Fidanza and is paired to a stage 2 carbon kevlar clutch disk, it had new Michelin Pilot tires installed about 5000 miles ago and the rims were upgraded to the newer 2008 style, the serpentine belt was replaced with a Goodyear Gatorback belt. This car has been very well maintained with Mobil 1 oil changes every 3000 miles, transmission fluid and rear diff fluids were changed 5000 mile ago as well. Front and rear brakes were replaced about 2000 miles ago and will stop this 500 hp beast on a dime. This car as been drives so there are a few small stone chips on the front lower bumper cover so please don't show up expecting it to be show winner perfect (just trying to be honest). Detroit 3 small cars lay an egg in latest Consumer Reports reliability study
Tue, 28 Oct 2014Consumer Reports has released its Annual Auto Reliability Survey and the results are, in a word, interesting. While we already covered the score-damaging effects of infotainment systems, there's another big angle to the data that's getting some attention - the utterly dismal scores of the Detroit Three's small car offerings.
The turbocharged Dodge Dart and Chevrolet Cruze, as well as the Ford Fiesta were their respective brands' lowest-scoring models, a stat that's made worse by the fact that the American automakers finished 25th, 21st and 23rd, respectively.
That's not acceptable for The Detroit Free Press' auto critic, Mark Phelan, who has penned a scathing critique of the D3's small car reliability scores, arguing that GM, Ford and Chrysler are "out of excuses."
Chrysler recalls small number of 2013-2014 cars and trucks over engine debris
Thu, 12 Dec 2013Chrysler is recalling a small number cars over issues with their 2.4-liter four-cylinder engines. The recall, which affects 522 examples of its 2013 Dodge Avenger and Chrysler 200 models, as well as 2014 Jeep Compass and Patriot CUVs has to do with potential debris in the balance shaft bearings.
The abrasive stuff can cause the oil pressure to drop, which could lead to the engine stalling or outright failure. This situation could at best leave drivers stranded and at worst lead to a crash.
Chrysler will begin notifying owners, who will need to report in to have the balance shaft module replaced. All repairs are naturally free of charge. Scroll down for the bulletin from NHTSA.
2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat gets brace of new videos
Wed, 21 May 2014Yesterday's big announcement focusing on the new Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat had plenty of stuff going for it - information, pictures and the rabid enthusiasm that always accompanies such an eagerly anticipated reveal. What it was lacking, though, was a proliferation of videos of the new model.
Sure, yesterday's news came with one clip, but today, Dodge has come through with five videos. We've arranged them in what we think will be the most entertaining order, covering the powertrain, before moving on to exterior and interior design, then on to a full CGI dissection of the SRT Hellcat before capping things off with a piece on the non-supercharged Challenger SRT392.
