3 DAY AUCTION ONLY!!!!!! Up for bids is a 2004 Dodge Stratus 4-S. The car has 120,272 miles on it. The person that owned this car started to repair it and decided to buy a new car instead. It has a timing belt issue and Im not sure if it has a new belt on it or still the old one. There is a few minor parts still off it as the owner did not complete the job. All the parts are there as are the bolts etc. I feel this would be an easy fix for anyone or a cheap repair if you took it to a mechanic shop. It has the 2.4 engine in it. The price I have on this car is low enough that no matter what you have to do to it you will have a decent car for little cash. Im not trying to get a bunch of money out of this , just want to pass it on to someone that likes these cars and wants to repair it. This car has a NADA book value way over $4000 when completed. The Stratus has 4 new tires on it so you know it must have been a decent car till the belt thing happened for them to spend that much on tires for it. I think they are Goodyear tires which aren't cheap. The body on the car is pretty nice with a few very minor dings etc, paint still shines nice. The interior needs cleaning and is in decent condition. The seats are good with a bad place on the back of the passenger seat which looks like maybe someone caught it with something and tore it. The carpet needs cleaning but the dash and console are all good. I think one of the door panels has a couple places on it, not sure what caused that but its still decent. This would make someone a nice car guys with just a little work. Price a car such as this on a lot somewhere, probably over 5 grand so you know this is a great deal. Checkout my feedback as its well over 500 and all positive. You don't get feedback like that if you lie and cheat people so rest assure your dealing with an honest ebayer. 2013 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee
Tue, 12 Mar 2013I can pinpoint the exact moment when I fell in love with this car. It was starting down a nearly straight entrance ramp at 15 miles per hour when I buried the throttle. In a moment, I was thrown back into my seat as the big SRT8's engine came to life with commensurate sound, fury and force, bringing me up to 75 mph in what felt like two blinks of an eye. This thing feels so much quicker than its 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque would lead you to believe. And mashing the right pedal never, ever gets old.
But beyond sheer speed, I found a whole lot to like about the Charger SRT8 during my week with the Pitch Black test car here in Detroit. And while the whole Super Bee kit isn't really my style, it's really easy to overlook those badges for a package that offers so much for so little.

Mopar rolls out new Scat Packages for Dodge Challenger, Charger and Dart
Tue, 05 Nov 2013Dodge buyers looking for that extra performance edge, take note: Mopar is bringing back the Scat Pack. Announced at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas today, the new Scat Packages will be available in three stages for the Challenger, Charger and Dart starting next spring.
Upgrades for the Charger and Challenger equipped with the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 engine include a
new cold-air intake and cat-back exhaust, as well as a remapped ECU. Upgrade to the Scat Package 2 and you get a new camshaft, and the Scat Package 3 tosses in ported and polished heads and hi-flow headers. Upgrades for the Dart GT with the smaller 2.4-liter, four-cylinder Tigershark engine with six-speed manual transmission start with a cold-air intake, short-throw shifter and upgraded brakes. The second stage kicks in a remapped ECU and cat-back exhaust, while the Scat Package 3 for the Dart gives you even bigger brakes, an adjustable suspension and sway bars front and rear.
NHTSA investigating power modules on Chrysler Group SUVs and minivans
Mon, 29 Sep 2014The Center for Auto Safety is officially petitioning the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to begin scrutinizing alleged problems with the totally integrated power module (TIPM) on about 24 Chrysler Group SUVs and minivans. The advocacy group claims that the part's failure can cause affected vehicles to stall or not start at all. NHTSA is still looking into the accusations and deciding whether a full investigation is actually warranted.
The CAS petition claims at least 70 TIPM failures, but according to NHTSA, six of the complaints are for models that don't have the modules. In 34 of the reported cases, the vehicles refused to start, and in 17 of them the engine stalled. There were also two allegations of smoke and one of a fire. However, none of these affected airbag deployment or resulted in a crash.
This petition isn't the first TIPM-related problem for Chrysler Group. A recent report in the New York Times alleged that it found 240 complaints potentially related to the issue on NHTSA's website alone. In September, the automaker also recalled 230,760 examples worldwide (188,723 in the US) of the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango replace the fuel pump relay circuit inside of the TIPM-7 with one external to the unit. The original part could allegedly cause the models to stall without warning. Even earlier, the company also recalled about 80,000 examples of the Jeep Wrangler and Dodge Nitro in 2007 to have the module reprogrammed.
