2001 Dodge Stratus Rt 74248 Miles Leather Moonroof Automatic Chrome Rims on 2040-cars
Pleasant Mount, Pennsylvania, United States
For Sale By Dealer:
The vehicle that is being sold is a 2001 Dodge Stratus RT that only has 74248 original miles on it. The vehicle was purchased from my friend when he bought a new car recently. It has no drivability or mechanical issues because it was maintained extremely well by its previous owner. The vehicle has a clear title and I currently have it ready to be transferred to its next owner. There are only 3 minor cosmetic issues that this vehicle has. 1. The headlights are a little hazy due to normal aging. 2. The driver's seat on the left hand side has some stitching coming apart on the leather seat. It is a 3-4 inch separation and does not effect the seat comfortability in any way. 3. The center caps for the wheels are missing. They can be purchased at the dealer or on eBay for a few dollars. Other then that it is a great vehicle and looks super clean. The vehicle gets great gas mileage to, up to 26 mpg on the highway. This would be a great car for anyone, even if you were thinking you may need 4 door, because it does have quite a bit of room in the back seat. Also for storage it has an enormous trunk space. It has all power option, including windows, doors, moonroof, mirrors, and seats. You won't find a better vehicle with this low mileage and in this great of shape. The current KBB on this vehicle is $4700, but we are even pricing it below that value because we would like to sell it before the end of the month. |

I sold my Viper, but the memories I'll keep
Thu, 30 May 2013The following is written by auto industry veteran Tow Kowaleski. The words are his own, but the memories now belong to everyone thanks to his willingness to share. If you're an industry veteran with a story to share, contact us at tipsATautoblogDOTcom.
It became the flame that started the fire of belief in the next life of Chrysler.
I just sold a car. Nothing new. Millions do it every day. But my car was a 1995 Dodge Viper, so maybe it was a bit more unique since just 12,000 were built. And like others selling a car that's been a part of the family for close to 20 years, this was a confluence of emotions for me. I was sad to see it go, but happy to have the cash and one less big, shiny, under-utilized object in my life.
Hero gets his truck back better than new thanks to community support [w/video]
Sun, 29 Jun 2014You ever hear a story and start cringing before you hear the end because you know how it's going to turn out? That could very well have been the case with the story from a few weeks ago in West Valley City, Utah, where a 14-year-old kid stole his grandfather's Hyundai Veloster and took it for a joyride - through a park full of children. But instead it turned into a heart-warming tale of heroism and a community banding together to do what's right... and then some.
Bryson Rowley was that hero who identified the danger and, rather than sit idly by and watch the joyrider potentially run over a child, got into his truck and drove it into the menacing runaway hatchback. The collision caused some $7,500 to his 2008 Dodge Ram 2500, but instead of getting stuck with the bill - one which his insurance may very well have refused to pay since the crash was, technically speaking, intentional - his community pitched in a helping hand.
Bryan Ellison, who owns West Valley Carstar with his brother, saw the news on television and wanted to help. So he brought Rowley a rental car, picked up his truck and brought it back to his auto repair shop. People from around the community donated parts, and when all was said and done, some $15,000 of work and upgrades were performed on the Ram that was returned to an overwhelmed Bryson Rowley better than new. Watch the video below for the full story.
Coal-rolling Ram dually does tandem beer-shooting burnout with ATV in bed
Fri, 25 Jul 2014Sometimes a video comes around that just makes you shake your head in disbelief. Take for example these guys from Nebraska in their dually diesel flatbed Ram, doing a smoky burnout. Lighting up the tires is nothing new, but these folks take things a step further by having another guy on an ATV in bed that is also smoking the tires. Finally, people are sitting on a couch in the bed taking the whole show in, as beer cans shoot out of the stacks.
There have been several stories recently about the scourge of rolling coal, i.e., diesel trucks modified to lay down a thick, black smoke screen, sometimes for vaguely political reasons. Whatever your opinion is on it, breathing in this much nasty stuff isn't exactly great for your health. Of course, it turns out that burning rubber is pretty awful, too. Both diesel and tire emissions contain cancer-causing Group 1 carcinogens. Combine them with the cigarette smoking here, and these guys are an oncologist's nightmare. Scroll down to take it all in for yourself. Warning, there is a little explicit language.
