Here's an opportunity for you to own one of the most iconic sports cars of the 90s!  Turn heads with this rare yellow Dodge Stealth, and enjoy the amazing speed and horsepower of this twin turbo, all-wheel-drive ride!  This beautiful car has low miles for its age, and the body is in excellent condition.  Tires are also in great condition, and are complemented by genuine Viper rims!   This is a fun, fast car that is quickly becoming a collector's item.  Don't miss your chance to own this gem!

Notable Features:
  • Top of the line model with Twin Turbo and AWD
  • 5-speed manual transmission
  • DOHC 24V 3.0 Liter V6 engine
  • Viper rims
  • Leather interior
  • Sunroof
  • Bucket seats
  • Rare yellow exterior
  • Low miles for a car of this age
The Caveats:
Please note, this car does need a new transmission.  The car starts and runs just fine, but the transmission is bad and does not shift gears (a known issue for these cars).  Unfortunately, I have neither the time nor the money to fix the transmission, but this is a fantastic project and these cars do hold their value very well.  My loss is your gain!  This car is sold AS IS and is not covered by any warranty.  Buyer is responsible for pickup and/or shipping the car from Columbia Falls or Kalispell, Montana.

While most of the leather in the car interior is in good condition, the shifter boot is cracked and should be replaced.  The leather seats show normal wear and tear in a few cracks, but are generally in good condition (see photos).

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me and I will answer all questions to the best of my ability.

Dodge Dart Registry helps you crowdsource money for your next ride [w/video]

Wed, 23 Jan 2013

To be honest, we're surprised something like this didn't pop up sooner. Chrysler is riffing on gift registries for couples getting married or expecting babies and cross-pollinating it with a social media funding website like Kickstarter to help customers buy its 2013 Dodge Dart. The Dodge Dart Registry allows people to build and customize a new Dart exactly how they want it, then let other people purchase some or all of the components as gifts.
The registry lets you add features like dark headlights, dual exhaust, various wheels and even interior options without choosing a specific trim level. This sounds a lot like the system Scion uses to let its customers configure cars, and this could be a great idea for Dodge. Of course, this system has the added benefit of being a social media affair for you to share with your friends... you know, so they can help pay for some of the parts, too.
The best thing about the registry is that you can configure your dream Dart from the comfort of your home computer, which strikes us as much better than walking around Bed, Bath and Beyond for the better part of an afternoon with an electronic scanner. The one thing that Dodge doesn't offer? "Thank You" cards. Those are on you.

Hero gets his truck back better than new thanks to community support [w/video]

Sun, 29 Jun 2014

You ever hear a story and start cringing before you hear the end because you know how it's going to turn out? That could very well have been the case with the story from a few weeks ago in West Valley City, Utah, where a 14-year-old kid stole his grandfather's Hyundai Veloster and took it for a joyride - through a park full of children. But instead it turned into a heart-warming tale of heroism and a community banding together to do what's right... and then some.
Bryson Rowley was that hero who identified the danger and, rather than sit idly by and watch the joyrider potentially run over a child, got into his truck and drove it into the menacing runaway hatchback. The collision caused some $7,500 to his 2008 Dodge Ram 2500, but instead of getting stuck with the bill - one which his insurance may very well have refused to pay since the crash was, technically speaking, intentional - his community pitched in a helping hand.
Bryan Ellison, who owns West Valley Carstar with his brother, saw the news on television and wanted to help. So he brought Rowley a rental car, picked up his truck and brought it back to his auto repair shop. People from around the community donated parts, and when all was said and done, some $15,000 of work and upgrades were performed on the Ram that was returned to an overwhelmed Bryson Rowley better than new. Watch the video below for the full story.

Chrysler recalling 780k minivans over fire risk

Fri, 09 May 2014

Chrysler is recalling 780,000 of its Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans from the 2010 to 2014 model years due to the possibility of circuits overheating, which can lead to a fire. Of the 780,000 total vans being recalled, Chrysler estimates that 644,850 are in the US, 106,980 are in Canada, 8,009 are in Mexico, and 20,638 are in other markets. All of the affected vehicles were built between August 25, 2010 and October 31, 2013.
Chrysler's engineers discovered that beverage spills or exposure to moisture (from rain, snow, car washes, and the like) were linked to circuits shorting in the window switch assembly. Short circuits can overheat, and thus, cause a fire.
Chrysler will contact owners and let them know when they may schedule service, at which point, the window switches will be replaced. In the interim, the automaker says that owners may visit their dealers after May 14 to have the switches disconnected.
