This is a very good condition 2001 Dodge High Top StarCraft Conversion Ram Van 1500 with a 5.9 Litre, 360 CID, V-8 gas engine coupled to a 4 speed automatic transmission. It has only 63,223 original miles.  It has four Captain's chair with head/arm rests.(One is currently remove, but included). They swivel and recline. The rear features a manual fold down 55" wide jackknife sofa bed. The driver has a power adjustable seat and  an AM/FM/TAPE/CD player with 3 Band Equalizer and two power outlets. The rear has a 17" PROSCAN flat screen TV with a VHS player and a DVD player. There is a separate AM/FM/CD player behind the driver's seat for rear passenger. There are 5 headphones included and each seat has a jack , light, air vent, an UNused ashtray and cupholder. There are 7 windows behind the driver. Each one has an excellent condition pull down privacy shade. There is a  storage compartment in the rear overhead the rear doors, and to the left and right of the TV in the front overhead. There is a hanging rod for clothes in the rear along with a tool compartment and under sofa storage room. It has Front and Rear A/C fans. Both blow cold air.

The van had a complete tune-up on 6/27/13 with new plugs, new plug wires, new distributor cap and rotor, new air cleaner, and new serpentine drive belt.

On 8/5/13, the van was serviced at the Dodge dealer.

New Hankook Optima 724 tires in size 235/75/r15 were installed 2794 miles ago.

Four new MONROE GAS MAGNUMS shocks were installed on 7/22/13.

Oil change is due at 65,000 miles.

Last Brake job was 3/12.

It runs, drives, handles, and shifts perfectly.

I am only the second owner of this vehicle. It has a clean title and I have it in hand. I have 2 remote door openers and 3 keys.

I bought the van for quick short weekend camping trips, but my wife has vetoed it. She wants more room with a complete bath room. She always gets what she wants, so that's why I'm selling it.

Please, please come look at the van prior to bidding, or send someone on your behalf. I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. I know on no major defects or problems. With that in mind, this van is being sold with NO warranty, expressed or implied. It is "AS IS" !

Please come look or ask questions.

Mopar maneuvers into SEMA with a multitude of modified models

Wed, 05 Nov 2014

As the aftermarket and performance arm of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Mopar has a duty to extract everything from the company's models that it can, and there's no better place to show all of its work off than the annual SEMA Show.
Dodge really gets in on the act this year with several customs to show off different parts of the brand's performance heritage. Perhaps the most interesting among them is the track-prepped Viper ACR Concept (pictured above). It wears a custom body kit to produce even more downforce, thanks in no small part to a monstrous wing at the back. To shed weight, most of the interior is stripped out, as well. Next up, the Challenger T/A Concept takes inspiration from '70s Trans-Am racing in a livery of Sublime Green and matte black paint. The center scoop in the hood keeps the 6.4-liter V8 fed with cool air, and the special's 20-by-9.5-inch matte black wheels keep it planted in the corners.
Also getting the once-over from Mopar is the Charger R/T. It wears the division's body kit, and under the hood, a cold-air intake keeps the 5.7-liter V8 breathing. The suspension is retooled to hold the road better with a coil-over kit, upgraded sway bars and strut tower braces for the front and rear. The company is also showing off a snazzy blue Charger with a mean look. The final Dodge getting work from Mopar is the Dart R/T Concept with bright, O-So-Orange paint and a matte black hood with a scoop hooked directly to the air intake. The performance-oriented design is finished off with a coil-over suspension and big brake kit, as well.

Both of America's domestic luxury brands seem to be stuck in neutral.

eGarage interviews a couple with 65 Vipers

Thu, 12 Sep 2013

Owning multiple vehicles can be a hassle worth enjoying if you're willing to spend the time and the money required to acquire and maintain them. But when it's hard to make ends meet while underused valuable hunks of metal, plastic and rubber sit happily taking up garage space, journeys into the depths of other people's well-developed automotive obsessions will either bring you and your cars closer together, or compel you to sell them off before you become one of those fanatics. A recent video by eGarage is one of those journeys, and it's not for the faint of heart: D'Ann and Wayne Rauh own 65 Dodge and SRT Vipers in a collection of automobiles that exceeds 100.
We're not sure if the couple has developed heat-resistant calves from stepping over Viper door sills made burning-hot by side-exhaust pipes, but we wouldn't be surprised if they did. We did learn that their obsession with the no-holds-barred sports car started in 2006 with a trip to a dealership to buy just one Viper, which goes to show how innocently car obsessions can start. But the Rauhs seem to be doing just fine - perhaps better - 64 more Vipers later.
Watch the video below for the full story and to see what eGarage claims is the world's largest Viper collection.
