This really is a good old van that needs some very simple and straight forward love.  There are no big issues, rust or missing parts.  Drive this one while you improve it.

Here is a GREAT Dodge Van and somewhat reluctant sale as I really like this car but have other projects requiring resources.  I bought this van 3 years ago from the person whom had had it most of it's life. I have had the car dry stored since then and do not feel I have the time to devote and would like to help find it's way into a very van friendly home. She is good now but could really be great.

This van is from the Yakima WA area and NOT, NOT, NOT rusty.  The body is VERY dry aside from the one spot on the passengers windshield pillar where these vans ALWAYS have a small rust issue.  What appears like rust is either flaking paint or rock chips on the rockers as the van lived at the end of a short stretch of gravel road its entire life.

We have a great running 318 Auto, she fires right up and drives very well; I installed a brand new battery and fuel pump this week after it hadn't been started in a while. I drove the van around a little and it is great to drive, quiet, stops well and nobody has ever hacked or altered the wiring. The front end is a bit loose feeling and should have some worn parts replaced.

The body is very dry, doors all work as they should, windows roll up and down, windshield is good etc. This van was originally a dark gold but had a quick repaint when it was quite new to be used by an electronics dealer. They did not paint the jambs and the gold jambs are in great shape. The old white paint is awful and just falling off, it really needs a paint job.  There is a good dent in the lower passenger side rear corner, and a small wrinkle in the front cargo door right around the beltline and that small bit of rust on the windshield pillar that would require attention before paint.

There is what I'd assume a very original full wood panel and shag carpet interior which is fine condition to be used as is or it would serve as great templates to build a new interior if one desired. There are 4 seats, the rear seats have always been and still are covered, they are in great shape. The front swivel seats are ripped and worn.

I will assist in shipping Wordwide out of Seattle Washington if need be.

Dodge Charger Pursuit nets quickest lap in police car test

Mon, 30 Sep 2013

We wouldn't advocate trying to outrun the police, no matter what you're driving and no matter what they are. But if you see a Dodge Charger bearing down on you with blue lights flashing in your rearview mirror, you'd better think twice before attempting to flee, because the Charger Pursuit has once again emerged as the fastest police cruiser out there.
In the latest Police Vehicle Evaluation held by the Michigan State Police at Grattan Raceway, Dodge says its new Charger Pursuit AWD posted a lap time of 1:33.85. That's quicker than any of the other law enforcement vehicles present, but also makes it the quickest all-wheel-drive cruiser available to law-enforcement officials. That may not make it the quickest of all time, but that honor belongs to the rear-drive Dodge Charger Pursuit, which cuts a fraction of a second off its AWD counterpart's time with a 1:33.70. But in regions where the extra traction could come in handy, that's as negligible a difference as we've ever seen.
Of course, the annual PVE sessions held by the Michigan State Police take in to account a wide variety of performance tests, including top speed, acceleration, braking, handling, fuel economy and ergonomics. The MSP has yet to reveal its full findings from its 2014 model year tests, but we'll be sure to bring them to you when they are published.

2015 Dodge Viper price drops $15k for 2015

Mon, 08 Sep 2014

We recently saw updated specs and new trims of the 2015 Viper, but it looks like the folks at Dodge were saving the biggest surprise for last. Prices on all levels of the American sports car are seeing an immediate, across-the-board price cut of $15,000; even 2014 models still remaining on dealer lots.
The new MSRP for the 2015 Viper in its base SRT trim now starts at $84,995, and when the TA and GTS come to the lineup later next year, they start at $100,995 and $107,995, respectively. The move seems like a swing for the fences that might help to quell slow sales.
Obviously, current Viper owners might be somewhat peeved that their investment was just re-priced by the company. However, to assuage some of their concerns, Dodge is giving all fifth-gen owners a certificate worth $15,000 towards the purchase of a new one, which comes in addition to the price reduction.

Roadkill builds crazy-cheap 1968 Dodge Charger rat rod using an old motorhome

Tue, 24 Dec 2013

Certain requests for description simply cannot be fulfilled, like if someone asked you to describe Picasso's Guernica or Gilliam's Brazil. There is only one appropriate answer to such entreaties, and that is: "You just gotta see it." That's where we are with the latest episode of Roadkill, wherein Messr's Freiburger and Finnegan dig out a 1968 Dodge Charger that Freiburger acquired in exchange for a set of cylinder heads, and intend to stuff it with the big-block motor from a long-bed, three-quarter ton Dodge pickup.
Only the pickup is too nice to tear apart, and the Charger needs a whole lot more lovin' - and parts - than initially expected. Enter, stage right, the Class A Dodge Pace Arrow motorhome with a 440 big-block purchased for $1,000, and a retired Plymouth Fury from a previous episode.
What ensues over the course of the 40-minute installment is more cuttin', yankin', leakin', stallin', hammerin' and smokin' action than you've seen in a long time, and some techniques that would have made even Cooter wonder, "I'm not sure if we should do that." By the end, though, the payoff is good enough to make you think about perusing AutoTrader for a '68 Charger just to see if maybe...
