I have for sale an original and 1 owner 2003 Dodge Ram 3500 Cummins 5.9 Turbo Diesel Dually with 147k miles. This truck is a true work horse that will pull and push anything in its way.
The car currently has 147k miles and always maintained since new. This is a one owner truck and I still have all the documents for this vehicle when bought new. If you are not familiar with the Laramine edition, it is fully loaded with a Alpine sound system, leather seats, steering wheel controls, heated seats, CD player, wood grain dash, etc.
Anything on the truck that needs or needed to be address was always repaired immediately and by a diesel mechanic shop. I have a lot of receipts for the work performed. Off the top of my head I will break down the truck.
**Exterior** (I would rate it an 8 out of 10)
-Dodge White, body is in good condition with a few small dings, nothing major and no rust. There is a quarter size dent on the hood and a small depression on the roof of the truck.
-Painted White Bug Deflector in front
-Tow Mirrors which fold and extend out.
-Tinted Overhead lights
-Tinted third brake and rear tail lights
-New front bumper (replaced due to age)

**Interior** (Rate it an 8 out of 10)
-All original and clean

-Rear seats are in excellent condition however, they have a few small grease stains on them
**Engine and Drivetrain**
-Oil replaced religiously 7k miles with diesel 15w-40 oil
-Transmission flushed everything 25k miles. Current had a flush 2k miles ago and oil is bright red. Very Clean and no issues with the transmission. Transmission shifts extremely smooth, OD works perfectly.

-Alignment (11/2012)
**Plow**
Truck comes with a Western Plow set up bought new in 2010. I believe the plow is just around 7.6" wide. Cutting edge is in good shape and has the flap on top to keep snow down. Oil was replaced before the start of the season.
I hope I am not being repetitive on this listing but I would rather be honest with the truck then not disclose an issue. The two issues with the truck as listed in the action are 1-The interior lock module needs to be replaced, the windows all work but the unlock and lock button does not unlock and of the locks. You have to do it manually.

Dodge Viper to out-Hell the Hellcat with supercharged V10?
Wed, 20 Aug 2014The Viper wouldn't be the Viper if it wasn't the most powerful model under the Chrysler umbrella. But with the arrival of the Hellcat engine in the Dodge Charger and Challenger, the Viper has fallen behind in the bragging rights department: where the new supercharged V8 produces 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, the naturally aspirated V10 offers "only" 640 hp and 600 lb-ft - gargantuan output figures by almost any other standard, but crucially behind on the SRT power scale. Conner Avenue is going to have to do something about that.
Although the Hellcat's engine reportedly won't fit under the Viper's hood, SRT is now rumored to have another trick up its sleeve: supercharge the existing V10. According to the Pentastar performance enthusiasts at allpar.com, Chrysler has already taken delivery of the first such prototype engines so that it can begin the process of fitting it into an upgraded Viper.
The spooled ten-pot is tipped to produce around 800 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. More than that and the Viper's drivetrain, chassis and bodywork would have to be substantially reworked. Though beefier transmissions are available, fitting them would reportedly set off a domino-game of changes required to handle the added torque. Which may be something Chrysler would be prepared to do for the next-generation model, but in the meantime, 800 hp could prove enough to put the Viper back atop the Mopar performance ladder where it belongs, and give it an edge against the new Corvette Z06 to rekindle sales.
Chrysler recalling 2009-2010 Ram 1500, Dodge Dakota pickups over axle pinion nut
Mon, 08 Oct 2012Chrysler is issuing a recall for the 2009 and 2010 Ram 1500 and Dodge Dakota pickup trucks due to improper installation of the rear axle pinion nut. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a total of 44,300 trucks are affected by the recall, and there have been 12 confirmed incidents including one crash.
The issue on both trucks is that the pinion nut is loosening on some trucks due to a lack of thread adhesive, and it is causing the rear axle to lock up resulting in loss of vehicle control. NHTSA's recall notice says that eight incidents occurred at speeds over 35 miles per hour and most also exhibited driveshaft failures as well since the loss of the pinion nut would cause the gear to separate from the driveshaft. In one complaint, the driveshaft separated from the rear axle and punctured the gas tank.
Chrysler will begin sending out recall notices to affected owners in November, but scroll down to see the official NHTSA notice.
Dodge Charger Hellcat hitting 60 in 2.9 seconds on drag radials?
Thu, 02 Oct 2014The Dodge boys and their cousins from SRT have shoehorned the same 707-horsepower, 6.2-liter supercharged V8 into both the Dodge Challenger and Charger. The former being a two-door, it's lighter than the latter four-door sedan. So it would stand to reason that the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat would be the quicker of the two, right?
Only that's not necessarily proving to be the case. On stock rubber, yes, the coupe beats the sedan: Dodge quotes a 0-60 time of 3.7 seconds for the Charger SRT Hellcat and 3.5 for the Challenger. Same gap across the quarter-mile: 11 seconds flat for the Charger versus 10.8 seconds for the Challenger. But according to recent reports, the story changes when you put both on drag radials.
While visiting Chrysler HQ in Auburn Hills, MI, TorqueNews.com caught wind of performance figures for the Charger Hellcat on drag tires: 0-60 in a mind-blowing 2.9 seconds and a quarter-mile in just 10.7. The latter figure just barely pips the Hellcat-powered Challenger's NHRA-certified figure of 10.8, making the Charger not only the fastest sedan on the market, but also the fastest muscle car. What isn't immediately clear, however, is whether the drag radials in question have any tread on them and are street-legal, or if they're pure slicks confined to a closed strip.
