I am selling my almost new 2012 Dodge Ram 2500 4WD.  Less than 17K original miles!  Quad cab, shortbed.  Very, very good condition.  This truck is setup for towing!

Options include;
Tow package,
Built-in trailer brake controller,
Satellite radio (built-in),
Bed liner,
Power flip-up tow mirrors with turn signals and lights,
storage compartments in the rear floor,
and some normal ones like; PW, cruise, tilt, etc.
I have included pictures of the build information and vehicle specs from Dodge.

The interior is perfect.  No known problems or defects.  Nice and clean.  Cold AC.
There is a small dent on the bedside above the right rear tire.  It might be repairable with paintless dent repair.  And one soft, small dent in the front bumper behind where the license plate would be (would be covered by a lic. plate).  Besides that, the exterior is super nice.  I will remove the decal from the rear window when the truck sells.

I had rails installed for a fifth wheel hitch to pull my travel trailer (hitch is not included).  The bed has a sprayed-in liner that is very nice.  No dents in the bed or tail gate.  This has not been used as a work truck, just my daily driver.

This truck is still covered under factory warranties.  New batteries and a fresh oil change.  1000% stock, no tuners, or modifications.  Has both transponder keys and the metal key.

Overall this is a great Cummins, and with just 17K original miles, it is almost new.

I will help arrange shipping as I can.  I live in north-central Phoenix, and work downtown (85009).  The truck is sold with a clean and clear Arizona title.

A deposit of one thousand dollars is due within 48 hours of the close of auction, and the remainder within seven days.  I will accept PayPal for the deposit, but the balance must be paid for by wire transfer, cash, cashier's check, etc.

Please email with any and all questions.  I am using this money for another purchase, so please please do not bid unless you are sure you have the means of buying this truck.

Dodge hoping Fast & Furious appearance gives Dart a sales jolt [w/video]

Tue, 28 May 2013

According to Automotive News, Chrysler is hoping Fast & Furious 6 will be kind to the Dodge Dart. While the compact sedan doesn't actually show up in the film, Dodge has partnered up with the movie franchise for a new ad featuring the Dart.
Chrysler hasn't exactly seen the high sales numbers it was originally hoping for with the new sedan, thanks in part to a couple of missteps. For starters, most early-production vehicles were only offered with a manual transmission. Analysts believe Chrysler squandered around 95 percent of potential Dart sales because automatic transmission options weren't immediately available.
Right now, the Dodge Dart rakes 19th among compact cars, pulling down 31,064 sales through April. Last month was the company's strongest, with 8,099 units moving off of dealer lots. Unfortunately, the model has also been handicapped by its older sister, the Avenger. With Chrysler throwing heavy incentives at the aging sedan, many consumers have taken advantage of a better deal with the slightly larger, more powerful Avenger.

Chrysler killing off the 200 Convertible, Dodge Avenger

Sun, 23 Feb 2014

When Chrysler rolled out the first-generation 200 to replace the Sebring range in 2010, it included replacements for both the sedan and the convertible. The Sebring Coupe, however, was left out of the mix. And now that the second-generation Chrysler 200 is descending upon us, Auburn Hills is paring things down even further. But this time, it's the convertible that reportedly isn't making the cut. Shame, too, since the rendering above shows what could have been quite an attractive droptop.
As our compatriots at Edmunds point out, sales of the convertible model accounted for less than five percent of overall Chrysler 200 sales, and at those numbers, the considerable cost of engineering a new drop-top couldn't be justified. With the Toyota Camry Solara and Volkswagen Eos also gone from the market (well, the VW isn't gone quite yet), the discontinuation of the Chrysler 200 Convertible leaves the affordable convertible segment largely to the sportier likes of the Ford Mustang and Chevy Camaro and smaller European offerings like the Mini Cooper and VW Beetle.
The Chrysler 200 Convertible isn't the only derivative being left behind with the new model: so too is the Dodge Avenger. That will leave a glaring hole in the Dodge lineup, with nothing to bridge the gap between the compact Dart and the larger Charger. Whether the Dodge brand has any plans to replace the Avenger with another model, not to be based on the 200, remains to be seen.

Does the future of Fiat-Chrysler include Dodge?

Thu, 13 Jun 2013

Wards Auto reports the future of Dodge is looking uncertain. Fiat has more or less laid out it's game plan for the next few years, and while the Chrysler, Fiat and Jeep lines are set to receive plenty of love, Dodge isn't so lucky. Fiat has already hobbled Dodge significantly by splitting off the brand's trucks into a separate Ram line.
Wards says that after the Avenger rides off into the sunset early next year, Fiat-Chrysler won't replace the model, leaving a gaping midsize hole in the Dodge lineup. The report also cites unnamed sources as saying that at least two other current Dodge products will move to the Chrysler line.
One of those could very well be the Grand Caravan. Chrysler has already made it clear that it plans to trim redundancy between its minivan offerings, but it has yet to clarify which other vehicle could sail under the Chrysler banner moving forward. Either way, such changes to the product line would theoretically leave Dodge with just four models.
