Here is my very nice 02 dodge 2500 4x4 short box quad cab sport. all black. new batteries and relay and engine coolant sensor. Has the 24 valve cummins turbo diesel 225,xxx miles. Auto Trans was rebuilt heavy duty last year by previous owner with updated TC. Has Fass fuel pump at tank in lieu of stock pump. power win, door keyless entry with alarm, air, cruise, aftermarket cd radio. has overhead comp, temp and mpg. power drivers seat with small rip typical of dodge. has newer 4" exhaust with chrome tip. tires are 285 Coopers about 70% ish. very little rust just bottom of drivers door and pass door. does have some minor dents, scratches. has bed topper included. pretty clean truck for year.
I do have Edge with attitude box that has 5 settings, monitor gauges for trans temp, EGT, fuel pressure, boost, ect different settings for monitoring if you like and does have timer shutdown for turbo cool down (CURRENTLY NOT INSTALLED BUT WOULD INCLUDE FOR $500 MORE).Ran and drove excellently up until last weekend.
NOW THE BAD has a short (ground?) somewhere im trying to figure out OR it may need an ECM on Sunday it gauged that it overheated and started LIMP mode BUT IT IS NOT OVERHEATING Temp gauge shows hot even after cold startup immediately and check under hood its not overheated. Codes say low voltage sensors. ECM from huksdorf diesel is $900 or dealer $1300 or if you can find used probably whole lot cheaper Ebay and autozone for $200-$300 ECM or maybe you can fix it. AUTO MODULE HAS THEM REMANUFACTURED FOR $495 OR FIX THIS ONE FOR $395 IF SEND IT IN TO BE FIXED. Its a very nice truck and I don't want to sell but I need to get back to work and don't have anymore time or money. Does start idle fine and even drives just drives mostly in limp mode and temp gauge says 240* and fluctuates. Pump, VP44 transmission everything else is excellent. INSTALLED NEW MAP SENSOR AND IS BETTER BUT STILL NOT 100% I REALLY THINK ITS A GROUND OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.
I NEED A TRUCK ASAP. OUT OF TIME I HAVE SOME JOBS THAT NEED TO GET DONE STARTING THURSDAY AND I NEED TO GET A TRUCK.
I would consider trades for TRUCKS ONLY and prefer an older cummins unless a quad or motorcycle and several thousand $$$$ to boot.
$9000 Or best offer. If you wait ill come up with money and just fix it and keep it so let me know ASAP thank you
( 2 6 2 )-3 43- 264 7 CALL TEXT WITH QUESTIONS AND IS FOR SALE LOCAL AND I AM THINKING OF TAKING IT IN TOMORROW TO DEALER GET LOANER TRUCK SO DONT HESITATE LETS MAKE A DEAL I MAY END EARLY THANKS I CAN SEND MORE PICS ECT CODES ALSO IF YOU WOULD LIKE
On Apr-10-13 at 14:47:50 PDT, seller added the following information:
I DROVE IT 25 MILES TODAY AND FOR THE MOST PART IT DROVE FINE ABLE TO DRIVE SPPEDLIMIT AND 45-60 MPH, SOME HESITANTIONS MAINLY FROM A STOP SIGN OR LIGHT. AT TIMES IT EVEN PERFORMED WITHOUT PROBLEMS. TEMP GAUGE IS STILL MAINLY STAYING PEGGED BUT OCASSIONALY WAS CORRECT, ESPECIALLY AFTER DRIVING AND SITTING IDLE NO LOAD AND IT WOULD STAY @ 190 WHERE ITS SUPPOSED TO BE. I AM ALMOST CERTAIN IT IS AN ELECTRICAL ISSUE LIKE A GROUND OR SHORT. I HAVE IT AT THE TRUCK REPAIR PLACE (NON-DEALER) CURRENTLY AND WE WILL SEE WHAT THEY SAY. I STILL MAY SELL AFTER FIXING BUT PRICE I WANT WILL RISE. LIKE I SAID BEFORE I WILL END AUCTION EARLY IF LOCAL SALE OR DECIDING TO KEEP IT AFTER FIXED. I WILL NOT LET AUCTION GO PAST 12-15 HOURS LEFT SO IF YOU ARE SERIOUS MAKE OFFERS OR BID TO WIN. THANK YOU ILL UPDATE AS I KNOW INFO

Watch this Dodge Viper get clawed to death
Tue, 07 Jan 2014There's a scene in the James Bond movie, Casino Royale, where Daniel Craig's Agent 007 is captured by villain Le Chiffre, played by Mads Mikkelsen. Le Chiffre tortures Bond in a scene that is rather difficult to watch (especially for blokes) and impossible to describe on these digital pages (Google at your own risk). This video is the automotive equivalent of the Casino Royale torture scene.
It shows a Dodge Viper - a late, first-generation GTS judging by the center-exit exhausts - getting assaulted by a giant piece of heavy equipment. The large claw shows no mercy on the V10-powered sports car, rending its muscular curves into pieces and then running it over, just for good measure. It's a painful video to watch (and hear!), made worse because we don't know what the Viper did to deserve such a fate. About a third of the way through the video, the cameraman indicates that the man with the claw is a new operator from Chrysler, and it appears there may be some fire damage, but beyond that, we don't have much to go on.
Scroll down for the video but be warned, it isn't for the faint of heart.
Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you
Thu, 21 Feb 2013As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.
Dodge Challenger returns to Trans Am
Fri, 15 Aug 2014NASCAR's Nationwide Series may have switched (in appearance anyway) to muscle cars, but American racing fans know that if they want to see real muscle cars on the street circuits, the only place to look is Trans Am. The all-American racing series is packed with Mustangs, Camaros and even Corvettes. The one thing it's been missing is the Dodge Challenger, but now SRT Motorsports has announced it's bringing its muscle car back where it belongs.
Rather than waiting until next year, the Miller Racing team is switching mid-season to the new Dodge Challenger SRT Trans Am racer you see here, just in time for this weekend's race at Mid-Ohio. And not just that - it's lined up a compelling pair of drivers to pilot it, as well.
The No. 11 car will be driven by Trans Am legend Tommy Kendall, a four-time series champion who's been off the grid since 2004. Backing him up in the No. 1 Challenger will be none other than Cameron Lawrence, the driver who has won five out of six races in the Chevy Camaro so far this season, losing out only once to American racing scion Adam Andretti.
