NO RESERVE! Great old dodge 100 pickup. Short bed, single cab. It is 4wd and has a manual 4 speed. I haven't seen another one of these (4x4 short bed with a 5.2 v8 and manual trans) anywhere where I live. It is a great truck and I get lots of compliments on it, and people asking me if it is for sale. Now it is!

-4wd works great, high and low in all gears
-2wd works great
-clutch feels good
-transmission is strong
-engine is strong, starts every time even after sitting for a month or so
-body is RUST FREE (there is a little on the rear bumper bubbling under the paint and some surface rust/faded paint in the bottom of the bed but it is nothing serious at all)
-paint is good (I will buff and wax it prior to sale)
-factory A/C!! works great
-tires are good
-will pass safety and emissions no problem!!!
- has an aftermarket head unit with usb and aux inputs, and cd player.
-Wired for trailer lights
-sliding rear window (no latch)
-No dings or dents!! body is totally straight!!
102,000 ORIGINAL MILES!
CLEAR UTAH TITLE! CURRENT REGISTRATION!

The bad:
-Leaks maybe 1 drop of oil every 48 hours
-Power steering belt is squeaky, it screeches sometimes but if you put belt conditioner on it it stops for a week or so. Probably just time for a new belt.
-window sills are cracked (drivers side and pass side doors) Never really bothered me, but I want to be as descriptive as possible.
-Stitching on the piping on the drivers side of the bench seat is coming undone. (pictured) this is the ONLY flaw on the interior.
-Front brakes vibrate a bit if you apply them hard when coming down from 60 or 70 mph on the freeway.

This is an awesome truck that will go anywhere in 4x4 and also gets around 16-17 mpg in 2wd. EVERYTHING works, everything is in good shape, it is a great workhorse. I will be sad to see it go, but I no longer have any room for it.

I will upload more pictures later, and post updates to the description when I think of things because I'm sure I missed something. Feel free to message me!

One of these trucks with an automatic trans with higher mileage is at $1500 reserve not met with tons of bids!! I have no reserve!

I HAVE THE CARFAX AVAILABLE TO ANY SERIOUS BIDDER. MESSAGE ME AND I WILL SEND IT TO YOU. THERE WERE 2 MINOR ACCIDENTS REPORTED 2 YEARS AFTER IT WAS NEW. THERE IS NO DAMAGE ON THE TRUCK.

Shipping: Buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for shipping, but I will help in any way possible. I can meet a transport truck anywhere within 100 miles of Salt Lake City.

Payments: A $250 non-refundable deposit is required after auction close, and full payment within 5 days. PLEASE only bid if you have the money.

Serious bidders only. Someone WILL  buy this truck, so don't be the person that bids and wins and then backs out. I have been very descriptive and will answer any further questions to the best of my ability. I have taken plenty of photos. YOU BID, YOU WIN, YOU BUY IT. This is a great truck and it has served me well. I have been honest and thorough in my description; that being said, the truck is sold AS-IS.

sorry for the lack of photos, I will have tons more uploaded later today.

Chrysler celebrates 30 years of minivans with special editions

Tue, 03 Sep 2013

It's been known by many names: the Chrysler Town & Country, Dodge Caravan, Plymouth Voyager, Chrysler Voyager, Lancia Voyager, Volkswagen Routan, Ram Cargo Van... but the bottom line is that Chrysler's minivans have defined the segment for 30 years now. In fact, Chrysler says it has sold 13 million of them since 1983, helped along by the Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan that accounted for nearly half of all minivans sold in the United States just last year. So to celebrate this three-decade milestone, the Auburn Hills auto has announced a pair of new special editions.
The 2014 Chrysler Town & Country 30th Anniversary Edition starts the Touring-L trim and includes such special touches as 17-inch wheels, unique badging, available Granite Crystal Pearl paint and an interior decked out in black Alcantara and Nappa leather, piano black trim and all the optional bells and whistles bundled in.
The 2014 Dodge Grand Caravan 30th Anniversary Edition, meanwhile, starts off with either the SE or SXT trims and also upgrades with 17-inch alloys as well as color-keyed mirrors and an interior with silver stitching, piano black trim, power everything, and of course, those special badges.

Dodge Challenger spied exercising supercharged Hellcat Hemi V8

Wed, 23 Oct 2013

One of the prime complaints against the Dodge Challenger is that, even in SRT8 guise, its 470 horsepower is responsible for hauling over 4,200 pounds of vehicle. For comparison, the 420 hp in the Ford Mustang GT only has to deal with 3,618 lbs. Things only get worse from there, as the higher-performance variants of both the Mustang and the Chevrolet Camaro are far more powerful than an SRT8 without adding on much heft.
So what is Chrysler to do? The correct answer is add a whole lot more grunt to its hefty two-door and even the odds. That's where the all-new Hellcat engine comes into play. We reported on this engine in May, and suggested that the Hellcat, a supercharged powerplant based on a 6.4-liter V8, would easily generate 500 to 570 hp and could likely arrive boasting more than 600 ponies.
Chrysler's ace in its sleeve has now been spied testing, with a number of Hellcat-equipped Challengers running the potent new engine both in more urbanized areas and under the sun of Death Valley. The hoods on these testers have been raised to accommodate the engine, and that camouflage over the fascias of these prototypes is there to hide a larger air intake. We also note what appears to be a new split grille under wraps. As for power output, our spies are now suggesting a Viper-equalling 640 hp from the Hellcat-equipped cars.

Roadkill builds crazy-cheap 1968 Dodge Charger rat rod using an old motorhome

Tue, 24 Dec 2013

Certain requests for description simply cannot be fulfilled, like if someone asked you to describe Picasso's Guernica or Gilliam's Brazil. There is only one appropriate answer to such entreaties, and that is: "You just gotta see it." That's where we are with the latest episode of Roadkill, wherein Messr's Freiburger and Finnegan dig out a 1968 Dodge Charger that Freiburger acquired in exchange for a set of cylinder heads, and intend to stuff it with the big-block motor from a long-bed, three-quarter ton Dodge pickup.
Only the pickup is too nice to tear apart, and the Charger needs a whole lot more lovin' - and parts - than initially expected. Enter, stage right, the Class A Dodge Pace Arrow motorhome with a 440 big-block purchased for $1,000, and a retired Plymouth Fury from a previous episode.
What ensues over the course of the 40-minute installment is more cuttin', yankin', leakin', stallin', hammerin' and smokin' action than you've seen in a long time, and some techniques that would have made even Cooter wonder, "I'm not sure if we should do that." By the end, though, the payoff is good enough to make you think about perusing AutoTrader for a '68 Charger just to see if maybe...
