I bought this D-150 at Garlits swap meet two years ago. I've done some work on it but for the most part I bought in the condition you see in the pictures. My wife nick named her "Cream Puff". This thing is loaded, 318 fuel injected, A/C, P/S, P/DB, P/DL, P/W,4 speed granny box transmission,9 1/4 3.21 SG rear,Aluminum factory mags, am-fm, even still has the Cobra 21 C/B in it the original owner put in it.
What I have done to it is install a new set of
Goodyear Wrangler tires on it. The truck had a vibration in it so I did a few things to it before I found it. I rebuilt the rear end,all new bearings on the axle, differential, pinion. All new seals. That didn't fix so I installed 3 new ball joints in the driveshaft and a new center bearing. That didn't do it. So I took the drive shaft to the drive line shop and they found the spline d shaft stub was bent. They straightened it, I went back and put it in and WA-LA Vibration gone and rides smooth as silk. Other than that I changed the oil and filter, tune up with new plugs, wires, cap, and rotor, new air filter. Truck is very dependable, gets great mileage, and runs and drives like new. Has new paint, bed mat, and a diamond plate tool box. I have a copy of the original tittle as it was a one owner. Truck has a good clear Florida tittle in my name. I'm just over the newness of it and I'm looking for a different toy. It has to be a Mopar. So shoot me your offers. Located in the Tampa Fl. area.
Truck also has a
Reese hitch and sliding rear window.
A couple of things that need to be repaired. As mentioned the speedometer doesn't work, Needs a A/C cycling thermal switch ( A/C takes a few minutes for the comp. to engage when it is first started, but then it blows nice and cold)
Drip rail on the cab roof will need repairing in the future(rust) the only rust on the whole truck!!!
I want to be as honest in the description of the truck as I can. You are welcome to come check it out in person or please ask me any question you have before you bid.
A $500.00 deposit is due within 24hrs of the auction end. Check my feedback, I've been on E-bay for many years.

2015 Dodge Challenger Drag Pak previewed

Fri, 29 Aug 2014

Dodge and Mopar have never strayed far from success in drag racing, be it on run-what-you-brung nights at the local strip or at the highest levels of the sport. Hoping to both add to that heritage and capitalize on some of the media spotlight that's shown so brightly on the brand of late, Dodge has given us our first look at the 2015 Mopar Challenger Drag Pak test car.
Though this first iteration doesn't make use of the 707-horsepower Hellcat engine, it seems to be a pretty formidable racing package. Starting with a stock '15 Challenger, Mopar adds a full roll cage built to National Hot Rod Association specs. Rubber front and back is drag racing-ready as well, with 28x4.5-inch tires in the front, and fat 30x9-inch tires out back - all from Hoosier.
Powering the beast is a massive 426-cubic-inch (7.0-liter) Hemi Race V8, with output levels that are still unspecified. A Chrysler 727 automatic transmission connects up to a racing style shift lever, with integral line lock.

Chrysler Group moves around execs in wake of recent departure

Tue, 16 Apr 2013

Chrysler is busy shuffling executives around in the wake of Ram head Fred Diaz's departure. The automaker has named Reid Bigland (pictured, right) as Diaz's successor in the role of president and CEO of Ram, though Bigland will continue his duties as the head of US sales and the president and CEO of Chrysler Canada. Bigland first came to Chrysler in 2006 from Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation, so the guy knows a thing or two about trucks.
Meanwhile, Timothy Kuniskis will take over as president and CEO of Dodge. Previously, he served as the head of Fiat in North America and has been with Chrysler in one capacity or another since 1992. His old title now falls to Jason Stoicevich, who will also continue to work as the director of the automaker's California Business Center. Finally, Bruno Cattori will take over as the president and CEO of Chrysler Mexico.
Diaz left his position to take over as a divisional vice president of sales and marketing with Nissan. You can read the full press release on the Chrysler personnel changes below for more information.

2015 Dodge Viper price drops $15k for 2015

Mon, 08 Sep 2014

We recently saw updated specs and new trims of the 2015 Viper, but it looks like the folks at Dodge were saving the biggest surprise for last. Prices on all levels of the American sports car are seeing an immediate, across-the-board price cut of $15,000; even 2014 models still remaining on dealer lots.
The new MSRP for the 2015 Viper in its base SRT trim now starts at $84,995, and when the TA and GTS come to the lineup later next year, they start at $100,995 and $107,995, respectively. The move seems like a swing for the fences that might help to quell slow sales.
Obviously, current Viper owners might be somewhat peeved that their investment was just re-priced by the company. However, to assuage some of their concerns, Dodge is giving all fifth-gen owners a certificate worth $15,000 towards the purchase of a new one, which comes in addition to the price reduction.
