1927 Dodge Pickup for Sale

......please be patient while the many photos load.....

Rare and beautiful 1927 Dodge Graham Brothers Model 452SV Screen Canopy Truck for sale. This California truck has documentation tracing it's ownership all the way back to 1952. It's frame-off restoration began in 1997 and continued until completion in 2012. It has new oak wood in cab, top, slats and bed, all new side panel, sheet metal and tailgate. New short grain top covering, upholstery and kick panels. New Firestone tires with tubes. Finished in the correct and classic Washington blue body with cream accents as originally delivered with factory Black fenders, apron and 21 inch painted spoke wheels in excellent, restored condition. Motor may have been rebuilt at some point but we're not clear on this. It does runs well with plenty of power and sounds healthy. The mechanical brakes are in excellent condition and the cone clutch works as it was designed to. All wiring was replaced during the restoration.

After successful involvement in a glass manufacturing company brothers Joseph, Robert and Ray Graham began in 1919 producing kits to modify Ford Model Ts and TTs into trucks. That led to the brothers building their trucks using engines of various manufacturers and the Graham Brothers brand. Eventually they settled on Dodge engines, and soon the trucks were sold by Dodge dealers. The Grahams expanded from beginnings in Evansville, Indiana, opening plants in 1922 in Detroit and in 1925 in Stockton, California. Dodge purchased the Graham Brothers truck firm in 1925, and the three Graham brothers took on executive positions at Dodge. The Graham Brothers brand lasted until 1929. Chrysler Corporation took over Dodge in 1928.

This is a rare example with only a few known of this year and model left in existence. A great iconic truck to add to any collection. All asking prices are listed on our website. Chrysler patents smarter minivan folding seats

Thu, 02 Jan 2014

It's frightening to think of how quickly the mice would have overtaken us if we hadn't stayed one step ahead of them with better mousetraps. We'll never have to worry about that in our relentlessly re-engineered world, though. Case in point: Chrysler has been granted a patent by the US Patent and Trademark Office for an improved design of the already wondrous Stow 'n' Go seating found in the automaker's Town and Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans.
Introduced in 2005, the Stow 'n' Go was improved in 2008, and based on the drawings of this third-generation improvement, the new design appears to allow stowage of the second row of seats without having to move the front-row seats forward as much. It look like it also involves fewer operations and moving parts, with a portion of the seatback being incorporated into the flat floor when the seats are stowed, as opposed to having a completely separate cover.
It's possible that the innovation may appear on the next-generation minivans expected in 2015, but Chrysler isn't commenting on the patent.

2015 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack

Fri, 24 Oct 2014

We all knew That Kid. As a freshman, he was a big kid, overweight but surprisingly strong. Still, he was often picked on for his size. Then, he chatted with the football coach, who convinced him that his true calling was on the team's offensive line. After a season on the freshman squad and a summer of two-a-days, this mild-mannered, husky high schooler returned for his sophomore year as a big, imposing, solid piece of muscle. Needless to say, the same bullies that picked on him were praying he'd forgotten about them as a 10th grader.
That's the V8-powered 2015 Dodge Challenger. It arrived on the scene with a max of 425 horsepower and a bit of a weight problem. It completed its proverbial freshman year with a nice 2011 refresh, where the SRT8 was bumped up to 470 hp, but it still had some work to do.
Enter 2015, and fresh off three months of constant burpees and wind sprints, the newest Challenger is as big and powerful as it's ever been, but it's now got poise and potential, and my goodness, it's fun in a way that Dodge's muscle car has never been.

2015 Dodge Charger shows off its new look in New York [w/videos]

Thu, 17 Apr 2014

With a new look inspired largely by the Dart compact, the 2015 Dodge Charger made its New York Auto Show debut today. Along with the interior and exterior changes, an eight-speed automatic becomes standard across the range.
What hasn't changed is the choice of engines under the Charger's long hood. A 3.7-liter V6 serves as the base mill, and can be had in both rear- and all-wheel-drive varieties, while the 5.7-liter V8 is an optional item and can be had in rear-drive only. Outputs are also carried over from last year, with 292 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque for the six-pot, while the Hemi V8 delivers 370 hp and 395 lb-ft of torque.
The new exterior treatment is a fairly large departure from the styling tone set by the Charger since its reintroduction to the US market in 2006. The blacked-out, crosshair grille and new headlamps are the biggest changes for 2015, though there are other, less immediately noticeable updates, such as the more rounded "Racetrack" taillamps that, like the front fascia, draw some inspiration from the Dart.
