Here's a seldom seen 1960 Phoenix 2 dr. ht. A fabulous Forward Look automobile from Chrysler corporation. Options are Sky Hi back window, 318 power pak, torquflite, power steering, power brakes, tinted glass, radio and heater. Strong running and powerful 318. has new 4v carb. very quick. Always starts with the bump of the key. Good throaty dual exaust. transmission just resealed. no leaks and shifts great. excellent glass, right rear window is stiff. needs lubrication. all gauges work. speedometer works smoothly but is slow to return to 0 when you slow down. probably needs cleaning and lubrication. heater and defroster work as they should. excellent brakes. average chrome and stainless average quality repaint. no evidence of prior accidents or rust repair. trunk floor has small rust through area and is soft in places (see photo) wipers work and has new blades after market stereo with power antenna. antenna has a mind of its own. Title is in my name, lic good through july 2015. currently insured original trunk mat and possibly the spare is too. no oil, trans or p/s leaks comes with fender skirts, quarter panel stone shields, and the correct brake release handle, original air cleaner new center link and idler arm bushing. new fuel sender. tires are old. one of them has a bubble on the tread. Dodge Challenger returns to Trans Am
Fri, 15 Aug 2014NASCAR's Nationwide Series may have switched (in appearance anyway) to muscle cars, but American racing fans know that if they want to see real muscle cars on the street circuits, the only place to look is Trans Am. The all-American racing series is packed with Mustangs, Camaros and even Corvettes. The one thing it's been missing is the Dodge Challenger, but now SRT Motorsports has announced it's bringing its muscle car back where it belongs.
Rather than waiting until next year, the Miller Racing team is switching mid-season to the new Dodge Challenger SRT Trans Am racer you see here, just in time for this weekend's race at Mid-Ohio. And not just that - it's lined up a compelling pair of drivers to pilot it, as well.
The No. 11 car will be driven by Trans Am legend Tommy Kendall, a four-time series champion who's been off the grid since 2004. Backing him up in the No. 1 Challenger will be none other than Cameron Lawrence, the driver who has won five out of six races in the Chevy Camaro so far this season, losing out only once to American racing scion Adam Andretti.
Mopar '13 Dart priced from $25,485*
Wed, 12 Jun 2013For the past few years, Chrysler's Mopar in-house tuning division has created its own one-off versions of several cars in the automaker's portfolio, including the Mopar '10 Challenger, Mopar '11 Charger and Mopar '12 300. For 2013, the black-and-blue up-do has been given to the new Dart compact, and Chrysler has announced that the limited-edition sedan is now available for order, priced from $25,485, not including *$995 for destination.
Like previous Mopar edition vehicles, the Dart is painted in a signature Pitch Black exterior with an offset blue racing stripe. The sedan sits seven millimeters lower to the ground and gets visual add-ons like a chin spoiler, decklid spoiler and rear diffuser, along with gloss black 18-inch alloy wheels.
Performance wise, the Dart's 1.4-liter MultiAir inline four-cylinder engine remains, producing 160 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque, mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The Mopar car gets a sport-tuned exhaust system along with revised power steering calibration and beefier brakes.

But, there are some things you might not know or might have missed about the new Charger and Challenger Hellcats. For starters, reports that the Hellcat production would be limited to a low volume are not true.
"We have not capped the Hellcat on either the Challenger or the Charger," Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis said.
