1993 Dodge Dakota Sport. Ordered new to be a stock eliminator truck CT-FT/SA but couldn't bring myself to cut it up. Ordered as a duplicate of the famous Scat Dak project truck from Mopar Action magazine. I special ordered this truck myself and have EVERY piece of paperwork ever for it including order form Window Sticker, Dealer Brochure and every receipt for any parts and service. Raced truck in Brackets and last on road in 1996 until re-registered this year. Always stored in a climate controlled garage under an included California Car Cover. Truck looks and still smells new inside. Pictures don't do it justice. Truck was a killer in brackets @ Englishtown, Maple Grove , Atco, Cecil County and New England Dragway. Best ET 13.89 @ e-town on 26x8 Goodyear slicks included. Race results, trophies (you're welcome to them). Only mods are bolt on and include : Mopar Performance Engine Controller, Mopar Performance Headers and y Pipe all Jet-Hot coated, March Underdrive Pulley Set, Hughes Engines Accel 21# injectors, Dynomax Cat Back Exhaust, Mopar Performance Black Wrinkle Valve Covers and Air Cleaner (also include K&N air cleaner). 29x11.5 MT ET Street tires (this thing hooks up on ice). Every part removed is new (all work done when it had 200 miles on it and will be included with sale. Only missing Muffler and tailpipe. Used on another truck.) Special ordered Premium Cloth with Console, 518 Automatic, Limited Slip 3.90 Ratio,Stripe and AC delete, Sliding Rear Window, 22 Gallon Fuel Tank and AM/FM Premium Cassete with EQ. This is the Roadrunner of the 90's for Chrysler since there were no RWD cars. Just out of storage and starts, stops and drives like a new car. I would drive this cross country in a heartbeat. No rust anywhere and truck is spotless. has 2 tiny scratches on fender touched up and 1 small ding on bed. Too small to show up in pics. Never anything in the bed other than slicks. Original tires still look new. Spare never on ground. Just added a new battery and pair of Mopar reman front calipers since they seemed a little sticky. If you missed your chance to order one of these new this is just like getting a brand new one today. Hate to sell but could use the space and kids are into Karting not drag racing. Buyer responsible for shipping but I would not hesitate to fly in and drive home or I can deliver to shipper since fully registered and insured. Would Consider Trade for similar 80-81 Z/28 C3 Corvette or GM muscle I can drive the family in.. Call Jim 845-313-2683

NHTSA investigating 110,000 Ram 2500s and 3500s, one death alleged
Fri, 23 May 2014The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has launched an investigation focusing on 110,000 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups from model years 2004 to 2006. One death has already been reported, according to NHTSA, due to a potential fault with the clutch interlocks on manual-transmission versions of the heavy duty pickup.
According to the report, these trucks can be started without depressing the clutch. There have been three reports so far, and as we mentioned above, one very sad incident seems to have resulted in the death of a child.
"One complaint involved an incident that occurred when a child was able to enter the vehicle and start the ignition without depressing the clutch. The vehicle then moved forward striking another child resulting in a fatality," NHTSA said in the investigation bulletin, which you can view below.
Chrysler recalling 31k SUVs and vans
Fri, 06 Jun 2014Chrysler is issuing recalls covering roughly 31,700 vehicles worldwide due to two separate problems. In both cases the company believes that most of the affected vehicles are either still on, or in transit to, dealer lots.
One recall covers roughly 10,700 Dodge Durango, Jeep Cherokee, Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee SRT models from the 2014 model year built between January 16 and April 17, 2014. The SUVs need a software update for the cruise control. It's possible that when the cruise is on and the driver presses on the throttle, the acceleration could last a second after the pedal is released or two seconds for the SRT. Afterward, they return to the speed originally set by the driver.
Chrysler says it isn't aware of any accidents, injuries or even reported incidents of this happening in the real world. Also, in all cases, if the driver presses on the brake, the cruise shuts off. The automaker believes that there are about 6,100 affected SUVs in the US, 950 in Canada, 425 in Mexico and 3,200 outside of North America. The software upgrade will be ready shortly, the company says.
Detroit 3 small cars lay an egg in latest Consumer Reports reliability study
Tue, 28 Oct 2014Consumer Reports has released its Annual Auto Reliability Survey and the results are, in a word, interesting. While we already covered the score-damaging effects of infotainment systems, there's another big angle to the data that's getting some attention - the utterly dismal scores of the Detroit Three's small car offerings.
The turbocharged Dodge Dart and Chevrolet Cruze, as well as the Ford Fiesta were their respective brands' lowest-scoring models, a stat that's made worse by the fact that the American automakers finished 25th, 21st and 23rd, respectively.
That's not acceptable for The Detroit Free Press' auto critic, Mark Phelan, who has penned a scathing critique of the D3's small car reliability scores, arguing that GM, Ford and Chrysler are "out of excuses."
