Runs and drives down the road great!  It is a joy to drive. The A/C blows cold air. I have to turn it down a majority of the time. Overall, this truck is in great condition. The paint shines and the chrome looks good. I purchased this truck on an estate auction. There were several bidders at the sale.  I really love this truck but I realize that I do not need three trucks. I have to sell this one because the other ones are a four-door and a classic that I got from my dad. I have started the auction at about half of what the truck sold for when I bought it earlier this year at the estate sale. It was a one owner when I bought it. The original owner was no longer able to drive, He was so proud of this truck. I do want you to realize that this truck is 23 years old. There are a few scratches and imperfections here and there. There are three things that stand out that are negatives about the truck. The gas gauge does not work all the time, there is a dent in the front passenger quarter panel, and there is light hail damage on the hood and roof. I have a lot of the original paperwork.  You will not be disappointed with this truck.  I get compliments all the time when I drive it.  This truck has no body rust.

Dodge to reveal Hellcat-powered Challenger in Detroit?

Fri, 10 Jan 2014

On top of all the other performance car debuts slated for next week's Detroit Auto Show, we might be able to add one more to the list - the new, supercharged Hellcat V8 from Chrysler. According to new reports, the rumored 640-horsepower mill is likely to cross the Motor City stage in the engine bay of a Dodge Challenger.
As AllPar points out, though, there may be more news than just the fire-breathing engine. While we've seen spy photos of the Hellcat testing under the hood of the current Challenger, there's a very fair chance that it won't arrive until the muscle car is refreshed later this year. The question now is whether that refresh will be shown off alongside the new engine in Detroit, or if it'll be saved, perhaps for the New York Auto Show.
Other details dug up by AllPar include potential transmissions for the supercharged engine - the Mopar-minded site is expecting an eight-speed automatic or a Tremec six-speed manual. Prices, meanwhile, could be in the same elevated range as the Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, at $70,000 to $80,000.

Dodge offers 100 years of solid advice in new ad

Fri, 18 Apr 2014

This is a cool ad. Dodge, which is celebrating its centennial this year, recruited some of its peers to see what you should and shouldn't do in life. Of course, some are obvious - don't complain, learn from your mistakes and live for now.
Then again, some are less obvious. Some, actually, are downright awesome. Towards the end, each piece of advice is interspersed with clips of Dodge's redesigned Challenger smoking its tires. Really, this ad feels like it'd be worthy of a Super Bowl spot. This commercial's personal nature is really in keeping with some of the big game's most interesting ads, like the Imported From Detroit commercial, the Farmer ad and Maserati's surprise clip from this year's game.

Chrysler recalling 49K Chargers for headlight components

Fri, 14 Mar 2014

Chrysler has issued a recall for about 49,375 2011 and 2012 Dodge Chargers with halogen headlamps due to a problem with the lights. The automaker says that there could be an issue with the jumper harness and other related components.
The automaker says that 43,450 cars are affected in the US, 2,850 in Canada, 375 in Mexico and 2,700 outside of North America. The vehicles will have their headlight assemblies, including the jumper harnesses and bulbs, inspected and potentially replaced. Dodge says that its engineers investigated reports of that were similar to what was found when it recalled about 10,000 police Chargers in 2012 for overheating light components. There have been no injuries or accidents related to fault, according to Chrysler.
The automaker will be in contact with affected owners, and schedule the service. Naturally, any repairs will be free of charge. Scroll down for the company's full announcement.
