1966 Hemi Charger Automatic Radio Delete Barn Find Very Rare Mopar Project Car on 2040-cars
Hugo, Minnesota, United States
Ok! We have a 1966 Hemi Charger Barn find that is being offered up as a ROLLER! This car looks worse than what it is! The outside sheet metal is rusty but underneath is solid! The odometer reads 36,792 miles and was taken of the road in 1977! The gas and brake pedals and other "wear" items indicate that the mileage is correct! This car has all the correct Hemi pieces as it was pulled from hibernation complete and drivetrain was pulled for rebuilding! ( YES, we do have drivetrain but it is NOT included in this auction! Buyer of body will have first chance at drivetrain ) This car is rare to begin with but this one was built as a radio delete car with the standard 3;23 sure grip which would definitely make it even mote rare! Pictures will show that this is an original paint car with no accidents, so nothing is hidden. what you see is what you get! Hubcaps are damn near mint! dash pad is not all cracked, headliner and sun visors are in nice shape! Drivers seat needs recovering and new padding but the rest of the interior is complete and in damn nice shape for sitting for so long! Some one replace the gas tank, rear leaf springs and installed all new brakes. We still have the original springs and go with car. The other reason we believe the mileage to be correct is the car still has the factory exhaust pipe in place except for 1 tail pipe that is missing!
Ok! we DO have ALL the correct and hard to find pieces available to winner of the car! Original Engine that is correct from air cleaner to oil pan! Original transmission! We also have NOS front fenders! NOS Hood! and NOS rear quarter panel! These parts are still in the factory packaging! We will not sell these parts until the car is sold and the buyer does not purchase them with the car! Serious Buyers only call 651-426-0061 and ask for Don or Randy |

Dodge not being dropped by Chrysler, CEO reaffirms
Mon, 16 Sep 2013Dodge isn't going anywhere. Despite some rumor and speculation over the future of the crosshair grille and the cars that wear it, Dodge brand boss, Tim Kuniskis, sat down with TheDetroitBureau.com, explaining that the marque isn't going anywhere. His sentiments echo those of SRT boss Ralph Gilles, who told a group of enthusiasts in July that "Dodge is here to stay!"
Dodge's death won't be "a part of a master plan to consolidate brands," Kuniskis told TheDetroitBureau.com. Instead, the brand, which is ultimately under the command of Fiat/Chrysler CEO, Sergio Marchionne, will likely ditch some of its badge-engineered models, like the Dodge Grand Caravan. A more focused Dodge, which was something Gilles has already hinted at, will likely see it exploring areas of the market that haven't been exploited by other Chrysler brands.
Kuniskis, not surprisingly, wasn't willing to delve into any detailed product plans, telling TDB that the size of the brand's lineup "remains to be seen." Regardless of how big the brand actually ends up being (it is presently Chrysler's volume brand - and not by a little), hopefully the statements from Kuniskiss can put the rumors of a Dodge closure to bed.
2015 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack
Fri, 24 Oct 2014We all knew That Kid. As a freshman, he was a big kid, overweight but surprisingly strong. Still, he was often picked on for his size. Then, he chatted with the football coach, who convinced him that his true calling was on the team's offensive line. After a season on the freshman squad and a summer of two-a-days, this mild-mannered, husky high schooler returned for his sophomore year as a big, imposing, solid piece of muscle. Needless to say, the same bullies that picked on him were praying he'd forgotten about them as a 10th grader.
That's the V8-powered 2015 Dodge Challenger. It arrived on the scene with a max of 425 horsepower and a bit of a weight problem. It completed its proverbial freshman year with a nice 2011 refresh, where the SRT8 was bumped up to 470 hp, but it still had some work to do.
Enter 2015, and fresh off three months of constant burpees and wind sprints, the newest Challenger is as big and powerful as it's ever been, but it's now got poise and potential, and my goodness, it's fun in a way that Dodge's muscle car has never been.
