UP FOR AUCTION IS A 1974 DODGE CHALLENGER. THIS IS A RUNNING DRIVING CAR THAT WILL NEED RESTORATION OR A FEW BUCKS TO MAKE A RELIABLE DRIVER. THIS CAR IS 98% ORIGINAL WITH NUMBERS MATCHING MOTOR, 8 3/4 REAREND, FENDER TAG AND CLEAN TITLE. THE 727 TORQUE FLITE IS NOT ORIGINAL TO THE CAR.
CAR HAS RUST IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS AND WILL NEED TO BE REPAIRED/REPLACED: LOWER QUARTERS WILL NEED PATCH PANELS, TRUNK AREA HAS A FEW HOLES ON DRIVER SIDE AND COULD BE REPLACED WITH A PATCH, THERE ARE A FEW SMALL HOLES IN THE PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR AND DRIVERS SIDE FLOOR THAT CAN BE REPAIRED WITH OUT COMPLETE FLOOR PANS, A FEW SMALL RUST HOLES ON THE ROOF FROM THE VINYL TOP AND A CRACK IN THE SHEET METAL ON DRIVER SIDE QUARTER NEXT TO REAR QUARTER GLASS WILL NEED REPAIRED. CAR WILL MOST LIKELY NEED AN IGNITION SWITCH AS IT WILL NOT ALWAYS START WITH THE KEY.

EXTERIOR WILL NEED WORK AS THERE ARE A FEW DENTS HERE AND THERE. THIS CAR HAS NEVER BEEN DISASSEMBLED AND THE ORIGINAL FACTORY SEEM SEALER IS STILL PRESENT AND UNDISTURBED. THE ORIGINAL FACTORY STICKERS ARE STILL IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT AND ON THE DOOR AND DOOR JAMBS.

eBay Find of the Day: 1994 Dodge Viper RT/10 with 504 miles
Tue, 26 Nov 2013It's typically hard to find early examples of the Dodge Viper that haven't been crashed or modified, but one eBay seller has a showroom-fresh version of the V10 roadster up for sale worthy of an eBay Find of the Day.
With just 504 miles on the odometer (according to the description and not the images) and "no defects at all," this 1994 Viper is a rare find indeed. Tack on the Buy It Now price of just $37,500 and it seems like a steal - especially when checking out the prices and conditions of other early Vipers currently listed on eBay.
Even after spending months ogling the all-new 2014 SRT Viper, it's hard to ignore the raw beauty of the original open-top model. From the three-spoke wheels to the calf-searing side pipes, everything about this Viper looks just the way it did when it rolled off the line almost 20 years ago. The seller even says that the top and windows have never been installed meaning there are no scratches anywhere on this car!
Dodge Dart getting hatchback variant... sort of
Thu, 25 Apr 2013In other parts of the world, Fiat builds and sells a version of the Dodge Dart called the Viaggio, and it appears that in addition to the current sedan bodystyle, a new hatchback version of the car is also in the works. Autocar says that the general manager for China's Guangzhou-Fiat joint venture, John Burton, has confirmed that a new Viaggio hatchback will be revealed by the end of this year before it goes on sale in early 2014.
The Viaggio will soon be joined by the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, which in China will be called the Liberty Light, at the Guangzhou-Fiat plant. While the idea of a Dodge Dart hatchback might be enough to enable most of us to forget about the Dodge Caliber, a North American variant doesn't appear to be in the cards. We reached out to Chrysler PR boss Rick Deneau, and he offered a succinct: "No plans at this time."
