1970 Dodge Challenger Rt on 2040-cars
Rush Valley, Utah, United States
Feel free to ask me any questions about the car : daniele_coletta@zoho.eu .
There are only two 1970 Challengers known to have been built with the (U-Code) 440 four barrel engine and a (N96)
Shaker Hood. They are the Cream Dream (built with an auto transmission) and the second is up north and in
pieces.,,,,,,with the engine, (4 spd) transmission, and other numbers matching parts long gone. The Cream Dream is
100% numbers matching. The factory installed engine, transmission, both body stampings (cowl & radiator support)
dash VIN tag, and fender tag are all original factory items.
You seldom have the chance to buy such a rare E-Body that has undergone a true O.E. quality ground up restoration
and that has already proven it by achieving the prestigious ICCA O.E. Silver award.
This car has also undergone a personal visual inspection and verification (at a big expense) by well known Galen
Govier, and a full report will be made available to serious parties. This was a personal eyes on and hands on
inspection by Galen that went over the Challenger from front to back. It was not a tag inspection that's done over
the mail. A direct quote from Galen Govier after seeing this car “The car is ultra-rare and one of the best
restorations I have ever seen”.
I have many photos as well as pre-restoration and in progress photos of my very solid Challenger and can also be
made available to serious buyers. This is a premium quality investment quality Muscle Car.

2015 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack
Fri, 24 Oct 2014We all knew That Kid. As a freshman, he was a big kid, overweight but surprisingly strong. Still, he was often picked on for his size. Then, he chatted with the football coach, who convinced him that his true calling was on the team's offensive line. After a season on the freshman squad and a summer of two-a-days, this mild-mannered, husky high schooler returned for his sophomore year as a big, imposing, solid piece of muscle. Needless to say, the same bullies that picked on him were praying he'd forgotten about them as a 10th grader.
That's the V8-powered 2015 Dodge Challenger. It arrived on the scene with a max of 425 horsepower and a bit of a weight problem. It completed its proverbial freshman year with a nice 2011 refresh, where the SRT8 was bumped up to 470 hp, but it still had some work to do.
Enter 2015, and fresh off three months of constant burpees and wind sprints, the newest Challenger is as big and powerful as it's ever been, but it's now got poise and potential, and my goodness, it's fun in a way that Dodge's muscle car has never been.
Ralph Gilles responds to Dodge rumors, says brand is 'here to stay'
Fri, 12 Jul 2013This is why we love Ralph Gilles. While in Italy hanging out with a group of Viper Club members in Europe, the SRT boss took the time to respond to a question directed at him on Instagram in regards to the future of Dodge.
Recent reports have painted a bleak picture for Dodge, but Gilles defended Chrysler's full-line brand by stating that the rumors are, "all rumors, Dodge is here to stay! It may get more focused going forward but not killed!" The idea of a "more focused" Dodge brand could lend some credibility to reports that the Grand Caravan and Durango are on their way out, which would leave Dodge solely as a car, or car-based, automaker.
NHTSA probing Ram recall pace, communication
Tue, 28 Oct 2014The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced that it's looking into Chrysler Group's handling of a pair of recalls affecting roughly one million Ram pickup trucks. Reuters is reporting that the regulatory agency is focusing on the availability (or lack thereof) of parts and "poor communications" from the automaker in its investigation.
"Customers have been advised in accordance with the regulations governing recalls," Chrysler spokesman Eric Mayne told Reuters via email. "We are continually replenishing our supply of replacement parts. Chrysler Group regrets any inconvenience our customers may have experienced."
NHTSA disagrees, arguing that the recalls, which affect 972,000 trucks from 2003 to 2012, are being delayed by the lack of parts.
