I'm selling this car for my brother who is from Tennessee/Georgia state line and has only been in Indiana for a few months. He has left it parked most of the time since arriving and has not driven it.  He has not driven in the snow either, so it has not been exposed to the salt and chemicals used on the roads here!!!! He is selling it due to moving back to Indiana and needing a truck. When he lived in Tennessee he was a truck driver and his car was rarely used.  Now he is needing to haul things, so this is no longer practical for him. Whoever gets this car is getting a RARE find. He has kept blankets on the floors and in the trunk so they wouldn't get dirty or have any wear, and no one as EVER eaten in it!  He doesn't have any pets and no children have been in it either.  This is his baby, but as I said, it is no longer practical for him and he needs to sell it. If there are any questions I will pass them on to him the evening the question is posted or the following day. The car is located at his address, not mine.  The pictures were taken on a bright day so the ones taken of the inside make everything look gray...everything is black inside and out!

The car is still under the Manufacturer Warranty!

The car still has a lien on it through Ally. Ally said it will take10 days for them to release the title after they have
received the payoff by mail (Ally does not have branches).

So payment is as follows...
$500 down through PayPal ONLY!
The remaining amount is due within days of auctions end.
The final payment will then be mailed, within 1 day of receiving it (or next business day if it's the weekend), to Ally using Next Day Express Mail.
Ally requires the payoff to be made with a CASHIERS CHECK ONLY,
so please have that when you come to make final payment.

Final arrangemtents for the title and car will be arranged in
person during transaction of final payment.

Thank you for looking at my auction, good luck and happy bidding!
Serious bidders only please!

This car is also being listed locally...I reserve the right to remove this auction at anytime!

Dodge Challenger returns to Trans Am

Fri, 15 Aug 2014

NASCAR's Nationwide Series may have switched (in appearance anyway) to muscle cars, but American racing fans know that if they want to see real muscle cars on the street circuits, the only place to look is Trans Am. The all-American racing series is packed with Mustangs, Camaros and even Corvettes. The one thing it's been missing is the Dodge Challenger, but now SRT Motorsports has announced it's bringing its muscle car back where it belongs.
Rather than waiting until next year, the Miller Racing team is switching mid-season to the new Dodge Challenger SRT Trans Am racer you see here, just in time for this weekend's race at Mid-Ohio. And not just that - it's lined up a compelling pair of drivers to pilot it, as well.
The No. 11 car will be driven by Trans Am legend Tommy Kendall, a four-time series champion who's been off the grid since 2004. Backing him up in the No. 1 Challenger will be none other than Cameron Lawrence, the driver who has won five out of six races in the Chevy Camaro so far this season, losing out only once to American racing scion Adam Andretti.

Chrysler recalling 700k minivans and Dodge Journey for ignition switch woes

Tue, 01 Jul 2014

General Motors isn't the only automaker with ignition switch problems. Chrysler is fighting it too and is now announcing a recall of 695,957 examples worldwide of the Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans from the 2008-2010 model years, plus the 2009-2010 Dodge Journey.
According to a statement from Chrysler, the models have a bad wireless ignition node detent ring in the ignition switch, making it possible for drivers to appear to have the key in the "Run" position but for the spring not to fully engage. It can then slip back to the "Accessory" position and shut the car off. If this happens, the vehicle loses power steering, brake boost and the airbags.
There is some disparity about the number of vehicles affected under this recall. In its statement, Chrysler claims that it covers 525,206 vehicles in the US, 102,892 in Canada, 25,591 in Mexico and 42,268 elsewhere. However, the recall announcement posted by The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration lists an estimated 438,109 vehicles in the US. Chrysler spokesperson Nick Cappa told Autoblog via email that the reasoning for the different figures "will become clear at a later date."

NHTSA investigating 110,000 Ram 2500s and 3500s, one death alleged

Fri, 23 May 2014

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has launched an investigation focusing on 110,000 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 pickups from model years 2004 to 2006. One death has already been reported, according to NHTSA, due to a potential fault with the clutch interlocks on manual-transmission versions of the heavy duty pickup.
According to the report, these trucks can be started without depressing the clutch. There have been three reports so far, and as we mentioned above, one very sad incident seems to have resulted in the death of a child.
"One complaint involved an incident that occurred when a child was able to enter the vehicle and start the ignition without depressing the clutch. The vehicle then moved forward striking another child resulting in a fatality," NHTSA said in the investigation bulletin, which you can view below.
