Vehicle description:

VIN: 2C4GP54L25R174340

Up for sale is this 2005 Chrysler Town and Country with ONLY 66,527 miles.

It is a 6cyl- 3.8lt and it is automatic and Front Wheel Drive.

The Van is in excellent mechanical condition

It is the fully Loaded edition with the Stow-n-Go and power sliding door. It also has keyless power sliding doors and trunk. The stock is fully stock and clean. It is hard to find a clean family van that has been well maintained. The Van is originally from mid-south so it has not been used in the snow storms of NY. It is from the state of Arkansas, where it was owned most of its life. Everything works on it. I has A/C for the rear and information screen.

No mechanical work needed at all. BRAND NEW TIRES. You can probably still see new tire mark on them. Engine has plenty of power and transmission shifts smoothly. Good cooling system, suspension, brakes, exhaust, etc. No check engine lights of any sort. It does show the tire pressure sensor light on. one of the sensors in tire might need replacement.

It recently passed NYS safety and emission inspection.

The undercarriage is in excellent condition. The frame has NO rust at all as can be seen in pictures as it is a southern van.

Body is rust free and clean. I took plenty of detailed pictures.

The soft top does NOT leak and it is in excellent shape. All zippers and removable parts work accordingly.

All glass is in good condition and it has factory privacy tints for all back windows.

I pointed out minor imperfection in pictures. There is a very small scuff next to left tail lamp. Also, there might be minor dings proper of used vehicle. Imperfections are hardly noticeable from a distance. It is a indeed a clean van.

Interiors are also in good condition.

All seats show little to no wear on them. Factory floor mats available and in great shape. All upholstery is clean. No actual rips or cracks anywhere.

Detroit Three autoworkers could get huge bonuses

Mon, 06 Jan 2014

For a long time, being a line worker for one of the Detroit Three has meant living with an uncertain future. With the health of American automakers on the rise, though, things are also starting to look up for the men and women building the cars. The latest sign that things aren't bad? Big profit-sharing checks.
According to The Detroit News, Ford, General Motors and Chrysler could end up paying over $800 million to 130,000 workers as part of a profit-sharing plan. According to The News, the economic impact of these profits in Michigan alone could exceed $400 million, besting the NFL's Super Bowl, MLB's All-Star Game and the NHL's Winter Classic for their economic impact.
This is the third straight year the Detroit Three have issued profit-sharing checks to UAW employees, and for many workers, the checks are as close as they'll get to a raise, due to the most recent contract between the union and the manufacturers. On average, employees at GM and Ford receive $1 for every $1 million in North American (not just the US) pre-tax profits. Chrysler, meanwhile, gets a similar deal, although the Auburn Hills-based company calculates profit sharing using 85 percent of the brand's global profits.

What's in a trademark? Sometimes, the next iconic car name

Thu, 07 Aug 2014

The United States Patent and Trademark Office is a treasure trove for auto enthusiasts, especially those who double as conspiracy theorists.
Why has Toyota applied to trademark "Supra," the name of one of its legendary sports cars, even though it hasn't sold one in the United States in 16 years? Why would General Motors continue to register "Chevelle" long after one of the most famous American muscle cars hit the end of the road? And what could Chrysler possibly do with the rights to "313," the area code for Detroit?

Fiat talking with banks about buying rest of Chrysler

Wed, 13 Feb 2013

All that stands in the way of Fiat's total ownership of Chrysler is a 41.5-percent stake currently held by the United Auto Workers healthcare trust, but according to SFGate.com, Sergio Marchionne is currently trying to raise the capital to complete the acquisition. The article says that a deal could be completed in as soon as 12 months, and the estimate for the remaining stake could cost Fiat SpA around $2.98 billion.
With a goal of completing the deal by the end of 2014, Marchionne is said to be in talks with various banks to help finance some of the deal. According to the report, the banks have indicated a need for a stronger balance sheet, controlled debt and reserve cash.
Two things that don't seem to be on the table to get the deal completed include issuing new shares to raise the capital or selling a stake in Ferrari. Fiat started with a 20 percent share of Chrysler in June 2009, and it raised its stake up to 58.5 percent in January 2012.
