YOU ARE LOOKING AT A 2006 T&C BRAUN ENTERVAN WITH 3300 ORIGINAL MILES!!!
I AM GOING TO DO MY BEST TO DESCRIBE THIS VAN AS ACCURATLY AS POSSIBLE SO PLEASE READ ENTIRE AD AND MAKE SURE THIS VAN IS RIGHT FOR YOU BEFORE YOU BID.

FIRST OFF THIS IS A  RUNNING AND DRIVING VAN THAT SUFFERED WATER DAMAGE.
I WILL LIST THE THINGS THAT I NOTICED WORK AND DONT WORK  BUT FIRST LET ME STATE THAT THE TITLE IS BRANDED SALVAGE FROM THE INSURANCE COMPANY AND ALSO BRANDED NOT ACTUAL MILES DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE BATTERY WAS DEAD AND ODOMETER WAS NOT ABLE TO BE READ AT THE TIME INSURANCE COMPANY TOOK POSSESSION OF VEHICLE.

THE WATER LEVEL APPEARS TO HAVE BEEN JUST UP TO THE CIGARETTE LIGHTER.
THE RADIO AND HEATER CONTROLLS WORK AS WELL AS THE REAR AIR BUT FRONT BLOWER MOTOR IS NOT WORKING.
THE INTERIOR LIGHTS STAY ON ALL THE TIME. THE SIDE DOORS WILL TRY TO WORK WHEN YOU PUSH THE BUTTON BUT DO NOT OPEN FULLY. THE SEATS ARE NOT WORKING

THE AUTO KNEEL MOTOR WORKS FOR THE REAR OF THE VAN TO GO UP AND DOWN BUT THE DRIVE CHAIN IS RUSTY. OTHER THAN THAT
THE UNDERNEATH OF THE VAN IS PRETTY CLEAN. THERE IS VERY LITTLE RUST AND THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS ARE NOT CORRODED.

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CALL OR ASK ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE BEFORE YOU BID OR TO SEE THE VAN IN PERSON

AND ONCE AGAIN THIS VAN DOES NEED WORK IT DOES HAVE A  SALVAGE TITLE AND WILL NEED TO BE TOWED HOME
IF YOU DONT HAVE THE MEANS OR KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS PLEASE DO NOT BID
WHOEVER CAN FIX IT IS GOING TO GET A KILLER DEAL

THANK YOU
JIM

Did a US automaker blow the whistle on Hyundai, Kia fuel economy issue?

Mon, 17 Dec 2012

In all of the most hotly contested mainstream segments of the motoring universe, the difference of one mile per gallon averaged on a widow sticker can mean the difference between a sale and a walk-off - to say nothing of two or three mpg. So, when Hyundai and Kia were forced to reveal that many of their 40-mpg ratings were actually 38s and 37s, well, it made for big news.
It also, conceivably, made for a competitive disadvantage immediately, when the Korean automakers' products were being shopped versus the guys down the block. And it's that disadvantage that makes a recent story from Automotive News so juicy.
AN is reporting that Margo Oge, former head of the Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Transportation and Air Quality, got a tip in 2010 that Hyundai/Kia were "cheating" to get its impressive fuel economy numbers. The tip, said Oge (who retired from the EPA this past September), came from a senior vice president from a domestic automaker. The source was credible enough for Oge to launch an audit of the Hyundai figures, which ultimately lead to the debacle that we reported on a few months ago, and that the Korean company has been trying to bounce back from ever since.

Marchionne on Alfa's US return, Dodge Dart's powertrain weakness and minivan plans

Fri, 18 Jan 2013

As a reporter covering an auto show, the one opportunity you never want to miss is going to the Sergio Marchionne press briefing.
"This undertaking to bring Alfa back is a one-shot deal... We are not going to do this twice."
There just aren't that many real characters left in the auto industry. Marchionne, who sits atop both Chrysler and Fiat, is not only one of the smartest execs in the business, but also the most frank. Herein, a sample of the quotable always-sweatered executive:

Preserving automotive history costs big bucks

$1.8 million is spent each year to maintain GM's fleet of 600 production and concept cars.
When at least two of the Detroit Three were on the verge of death a few years back, one of the tough questions that was asked of Ford, General Motors and Chrysler execs - outside of why execs were still taking private planes to meetings - was why each company maintained huge archives of old production and concept vehicles. GM, for example, had an 1,100-vehicle collection when talk of a federal bailout began.
