Hello everyone,
I have a really  nice 1969 Chrysler imperial for sale.  This is a three owner car, first owner my Grandmother, second owner me, third owner my sister.  I did the  restoration work on the car with my father, we used to run a small restoration shop together.  We rebuilt the motor, and trans. We replaced NOS rotors and pads.  We went thru the suspension again NOS not the shocks thou.  The interior of the car is in great shape no rips in the seats, headliner is great. My grandma ordered this car and she check almost all the option boxes for this year car.  It has power seats, power windows, power locks, power brakes, power steering, automatic climate control, disc brakes, power radio antenna, have original radio but out a custom radio in it looks original thou,  the headlamp motors work great, AC thou not working the system leaked out and was turned on and smoked the compressor, but I have all the parts.  It has been stored inside its hole live never let outside.  So the car has the original paint, I buffed it out and it still looks good.  NO rust the only spots on the car are from the rock chips.  I will go to the storage building and add a pic of that later.  The aftermarket parts on the car as follows; electric fan (hidden in-between the evaporator and the radiator), electronic distubutor (looks stock), radio (custom audio looks stock), edbrock intake (painted and blends with the motor), edbrock avs carb (don't like Holley stuff), and a set of three gauges under the dash ( electric display very hard to see when car is off).  The car is a blast to drive gets looks from a lot of people. The car start right up no problems.  Overall a great car.
any questions just message me
Thanks for looking

These cars are headed to the Great Crusher In The Sky

Fri, 24 Aug 2012

It happens every year. We bid adieu to some cars and trucks that will be missed, and say good riddance to others wondering how they stayed around so long. Whether they're being killed off for slow sales or due to a new product coming along to replace them, the list of vehicles being discontinued after 2012 is surprisingly long and diverse.
CNN Money has compiled a list of departing vehicles, to which we've added a few more of our own. In the slow sales column, cars like the Lexus HS 250h, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and the full Maybach lineup appear, while the Ford Escape Hybrid, Mazda CX-7 and Hyundai Veracruz are all having their gaps filled with more modern and more fuel-efficient alternatives. Obvious exceptions to the rule include models that still sell in decent numbers like the Jeep Liberty and the Chrysler Town & Country (which will eventually be replaced by a crossover-like vehicle).
Check out our gallery of discontinued cars above, then scroll down for more information.

Chrysler Town & Country plug-in hybrid minivan coming in 2015

Mon, 06 Oct 2014

Among the multitude of models that Fiat Chrysler Automobiles announced as part of its five-year production plan in May was a plug-in hybrid version of the Town & Country minivan for sometime in 2016. However, according to the latest pronouncement from company CEO Sergio Marchionne, that timetable may have been moved forward quite a bit.
Marchionne told Automotive News at the Paris Motor Show that the PHEV minivan would now be launching in late 2015. That strategy does seem a bit confusing, though, because the next-gen platform for the T&C isn't supposed to hit the road until sometime in 2016, according to the plan. So it's not clear whether the boss means the PHEV rides on the current chassis or if the new model is going on sale early.
The technology underpinning the new plug-in hybrid has been shrouded in mystery. However, during the five-year plan meeting, FCA claimed the model could earn fuel economy figures around 75 mpge. Chrysler previously tested a 25-unit fleet of them as part of a demonstration test in Auburn Hills, MI, in 2012, but that didn't go so well.

Hot sales have Detroit automakers shortening summer shutdowns

Tue, 08 Jul 2014

Back in May, there was speculation that the Detroit Three automakers would maintain or perhaps even extend their traditional summer shutdowns, mostly due to a bitingly cold winter that saw below-freezing temperatures infiltrate the southernmost reaches of the US, putting a chill on auto sales. Now, though, the numbers are in, and thanks to some promising sales figures, it looks like some domestic line workers are going to be working clear through July, in some cases.
According to Automotive News, Ford has slashed its traditional two-week hiatus for factory workers in half at four of its plants, while both Chrysler and General Motors will keep factories running nonstop (two plants in Chrysler's case and a third of GM's factories).
This is, as we said, thanks to some positive numbers. Chief among those is the Seasonal Adjusted Annual Rate, which was at an eight-year high of 17 million units. Individual figures were less promising. GM, embroiled in its recall scandal, still saw a one-percent increase while Ford dropped six percent in year-over-year sales. Chrysler was the big winner, though, with a nine-percent jump in June.
