This 1964 Chrysler 300 is a 4 Door Hardtop. It has a 383 V8 engine. The body is in very good condition. It has a dent in the back bumper and on the trunk above the back bumper. The interior is white leather with black cloth inserts and is in excellent condition and near immaculate. The headliner is loose where the threads have dried while sitting in the garage for many years. The steering wheel is not bent, it is a rectangular steering wheel. This car is a nice driving, nice running car. It started right up after sitting in the garage for many years, but I have done a bit of a tune up and drove it for awhile. The odometer reads 21,013, but I do not know the exact mileage. I am trying hard to sell this car because I need room in my garage for other projects and it is too nice of a car to sit outside in our harsh winters. I am selling at no reserve. MAKE ME AN OFFER. Chrysler launches new Ram ads and gears up for Super Bowl XLV [w/videos]
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Perhaps no car company has made bigger splashes in the last two years at the Super Bowl than Chrysler, and the automaker's marketing chief, Olivier Francois, said today that he plans to be all over the big game again in February.
Last year, the company made an ad featuring Hollywood icon Clint Eastwood. The spot achieved viral status quickly when pundits charged that Eastwood's lines were politically motivated; meant to appeal to progressive voters/viewers favoring a second term for President Obama. In 2011, agency Wieden & Kennedy burst into the game with a now famous commercial featuring Eminem. Both ads have supported Chrysler's "Imported from Detroit" marketing platform.
Francois briefed reporters Monday at the Detroit Opera House while he also debuted a new series of ads for the Ram brand.
Marchionne to take his sweater and go home after 2018
Wed, 08 Oct 2014The end is in sight for Fiat Chrysler boss Sergio Marchionne, who confirmed in an interview with Bloomberg that once FCA's sweeping five-year plan is completed, he'd be stepping down from his post to "undoubtedly" do something else that didn't involve turning around global corporations. That would mean he should finish up after 2018 if all goes according to plan.
"It's as important to walk away from the table as it is to sit down," Marchionne told Bloomberg.
Marchionne has been at Fiat since June of 2004 and is one of the chief architects behind the Italian company's acquisition of Chrysler. Despite his successes, he does sound quite ready to move beyond the auto industry, rhetorically asking his Bloomberg interviewers if there "are other things I like to do apart from this?"
