2005 Chevy Venture minivan. This was a local trade in. We just put 4 new General Altimax tires on it, 2 new front hub bearings, new brake pads, brake rotors, brake calipers, rear brake shoes, rear wheel cylinders, front brake lines, rear brake drums, flushed all the fluids, replaced the oxygen sensors, tuned it up, repaired the exhaust, the list goes on and on. This van drives like one with 40k miles on it. All the options work, A/C is cold, heat is hot, power windows work, ABS brakes work, no check engine light, traction control works, automatic transmission shifts great, all 4 tires are new premium General Altimax RT's on alloy wheels. Zero mechanical problems, runs smooth as silk. Power sliding door on passenger side opens with key fob or from the inside. Seats 8. Typical rust on rocker panels and rear hatch. Seating can be configured many ways to suit your needs. Inside is remarkably clean for a minivan. For sale locally as well - buy it now because this one won't last!  I am confident that you can load the whole family in this champion and drive cross country with no problem, everything (and I mean everything) works as is should. Clean title.

I have described this car to the best of my ability. This vehicle has just passed NY State inspection and has been completely checked over by an independent mechanic. All vehicles over 100k miles and/or over 10 years old are sold As-Is. Sales tax may be collected depending on your location in accordance with NY state law. Absolutely no additional dealer fees will be added. Warranties are available from 3rd parties, I do not sell them, most of the time they are a rip-off. If you are a NY resident I can take your car in trade at fair KBB value and transfer your plate on the spot. The name of my dealership is "Alfred Auto Center" I encourage you to check out our reputation on Repairpal, we strive to take care of all of our customers long after the sale. We can service all cars we sell.

Thank You for looking at my car!
Let's keep it simple and easy - 1. You win the bid, 2. Submit a $500 non-refundable deposit via Paypal immediately, 3. I will contact you and then you will mail me a bank check  via certified mail with a tracking #,  4. Once the check clears you come and get the car, title, and keys or arrange for transport.

Corvette Stingray designer lists five goals of new exterior shape

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

Redesigning an icon is a difficult task, especially when you've got a blank sheet of paper in front of you and the all-new C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is intended to be your final objective.
General Motors has released a new short video featuring Kirk Bennion of the Corvette's exterior design team, talking about the challenges of sculpting Chevrolet's new flagship sports car and the five goals the team had to keep in mind as it worked. In the end, Bennion's team had the pleasure of seeing their hard work take center stage as the Corvette captured the world's eyes at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.

Chevy Camaro is a good sport, wishes Ford Mustang Happy 50th

Tue, 15 Apr 2014

It was 1966 when Chevrolet launched its challenger to the wildly successful Ford Mustang, the Camaro. While the competition between the two brands was already healthy, the arrival of the Camaro set off one of the most intense, model-to-model rivalries in the industry.
That competitive spirit hasn't stopped Chevy and the Camaro from wishing Ford's iconic muscle car a Happy 50th Birthday as the Ford's April 17 anniversary rolls around. These two cars have been linked over the years, and while the rivalry took a break for a few years in the 2000s, today's competition between the Camaro and Mustang is as fierce as it's ever been.
You might recall that this friendliness when it comes to major milestones isn't too rare. Ford put on quite a display for General Motors' hundredth anniversary back in 2008. As the Camaro's fiftieth birthday approaches in 2016, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Mustang sending its best wishes to its Bowtie rival.

Read This: Auto Extremist advocates for Corvette as brand with multiple models [w/poll]

Fri, 25 Jan 2013

The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette really grinds Peter De Lorenzo's gears. Or, more accurately, the self-anointed Auto Extremist has an issue with what he sees as mismanagement of the legendary sports car by General Motors executives. In a new editorial on his website, De Lorenzo argues it's time to split Corvette off from Chevrolet to create an all-new brand, complete with a model range with at least three new takes on the sports car. Capable of fully leveraging the successes of the Corvette Racing program and brandishing the full might of GM's technical prowess, the Corvette brand would theoretically give Porsche something to sweat over.
Sure, that sounds like a party, but given GM's troubled track record when it comes to launching (let alone managing) brands, we say that's slippery slope that could just as easily end with the whole Corvette franchise in the scrap bin. Either way, the notion is certainly an interesting one. Head over to Auto Extremist to take in the full editorial, and then let us know what you think in Comments. Should GM split off its most storied nameplate?
