For Sale is my 2001 Chevrolet Venture LS with Onstar

Reason I'm selling we haven't used it in a month we upgraded so its up for bid

Has a good 3.4 engine best van I have had on gas. Also strong has plenty of power in city or highway. Replaced trans intake idler pulley you name in the last 5k. The tires are good year I say 80 percent tread on the tires. All doors open and close or slide like they should. The breaks are good no issues. It's a quality driver for the price. Has CD player lots of options for the year onstar you name it. Dual sliding doors. Runs so quiet can't tell it's on exhaust is quiet so is engine. Water pump made noise replaced that to.

The body paint is really good shines up good could take a wash as it has been sitting a month. Has rust lower rockers not bad though as seen in pictures. The bumper was knocked off need the side clips to put it back on. You can get them from the yard. The damage on the quarter the bumper covers that up. I took pictures of the dent though and pictures with the bumper on with no clips and the bumper off. Trying to be detailed as I can.

Only issue the van needs is power steering pump that's $30 at autozone but we drove it the way it was. I suggest replacing the pump though its minor and easy fix right at the top.

GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable

General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.

Corvette Stingray Shooting Brake under consideration by Callaway [w/poll]

Callaway has released a few renderings of a design study for a shooting brake version of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The company says it wants to create a long-roof version of America's sports car to offer buyers more interior room and a vehicle with "unique style." The company says it will use structural carbon fiber for the new body bits, which suggests the conversion shouldn't add too much more weight to the Corvette. Along with a few mechanical tweaks, the Callaway Corvette Stingray AeroWagon could breeze past the 200 miles per hour barrier.
Provided that they get enough interest, Callaway estimates they will be able to effect the changes on the Chevrolet for around $15,000, and says the conversion work should be available through its network of dealers. Callaway debuts its new C7 Stingray at National Corvette Museum

Callaway showed off its first tuned version of the 2014 Corvette Stingray at the National Corvette Museum last week, giving the rampant enthusiasts of America's sports car a look at the roughly 620-horsepower, supercharged rocket.
Unlike the Corvette SC610 we showed you back in January, this Stingray packs a fair bit more oomph. Horsepower is only up ten ponies, but torque has jumped from 556 pound-feet to "at least" 600 pound-feet. Neither horsepower nor torque is official quite yet, although Callaway is expecting to know just what its creation can do once testing and validation is completed later this month.
The 6.2-liter, supercharged V8 now boasts a new, three-element intercooler, which Callaway claims only allowed the inlet air temperature to increase by ten degrees Fahrenheit during dyno runs. Previous designs saw a 35-degree-Fahrenheit jump. The exhaust system has also been fettled with, and now is even less restrictive.
