Up for sale a PERFECT RUNNING LOW MILES 2012 Chevy Traverse LT 2WD with a New York Rebuilt TITLE.
Vehicle is in perfect running condition with only 12,500 miles. loaded with features and in mint condition. Book Value is $23k. I purchased this vehicle for my family from an insurance auction with front end damage (I have original pictures of damage) and had it fixed professionally. Vehicle was involved in a collision with a deer. The repairs consisted in replacing parts only, such as head light, radiator, radiator support, AC condenser, bumper support, bumper covers, grille, fender, strut and one wheel, passenger and driver airbags, seatbelts and SRS module and painting of parts replaced. All parts original. There weren't and there aren't any mechanical issues with the vehicle. We just drove from NY to FL flawlessly and a very nice smooth ride and averaged 27 MPG. Excellent on gas. We have put 9 K miles all together since put on the road with no issues at all. There are only 2 known issues to be revealed. One of them is that passenger door has a few dents because it was one of the only 2 things that did not get done. They are a little bit noticeable in the pictures. The other issue is that curtain airbags were not replaced and with this, airbag light still comes on. These were not necessary to pass the estate inspection since this is just an added safety feature. I did not take care of these 2 issues because money run low and I was not able to afford to fix the door or replace these airbags. Door works perfect though these are only small dents. Apart from these 2 small issues the car is in PERFECT CONDITION. Great family vehicle. The reason why I am selling it it is because even though we plan to spend most of the winter in FL it has not worked out and we need a 4WD or AWD vehicle for the road where we live here in  NY has a very steep hill. I have attached as many pictures as possible, but if you need more I will be glad to share more just let me know. Also I have attached a picture of original dealer tag where it lists all the features and original price. You can save over $6K from book value and if you are planning to buy new it is half of the price. Please fell free to email me for more details. Thank you for looking. Please note that vehicle is sold way below the book value because of the rebuilt title.

Chevy confirms Corvette Stingray Convertible for Geneva

Thu, 07 Feb 2013

Want proof that General Motors has increased global ambitions for its 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray? It's staging the world premiere of the model's convertible variant at the Geneva Motor Show early next month.
As previously rumored, the droptop rendered above will debut at the Swiss show, making its first appearance anywhere on March 5. According to Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet, the location makes sense because Corvette "...is an icon that has long been recognized and admired even in countries where it's never officially been offered."
While neither Chevrolet nor the Corvette has a major sales presence in Switzerland, the Bowtie's European headquarters is located in Zurich (about three hours to the northeast of Geneva) and GM has made it clear that it wants to build the Chevrolet brand up across Europe.

Tarantino's stolen Chevy Malibu from Pulp Fiction recovered after 19 years [w/video]

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

Quentin Tarantino fans will likely remember Vincent Vega's cherry 1964 Chevrolet Malibu Convertible in Pulp Fiction. In a movie drenched in automotive references, the Malibu is very nearly a character in and of itself, and it serves as the subject of Vega's soliloquy about the kind of man who vandalizes another's automobile. It also happened to be Tarantino's personal car when the film was shot, and was apparently stolen shortly after production wrapped. Now police have located the car some 19 years later.
As it turns out, the thieves cloned the vehicle identification number from another '64 Malibu and had the car registered under the new digits. It was then sold to an unsuspecting buyer. Police happened upon the duplicate VINs while investigating another potential theft. Right now, it's unclear whether Tarantino has taken possession of the Chevrolet, if it has remained in the possession of the fraud victim, or whether it's caught somewhere in the gears of justice. Either way, you can catch Vega's memorable thoughts on the car keying in the Pulp Fiction clip below. But consider yourself warned: the video contains explicit language as Not Safe For Work as it comes.

Chevy Camaro is a good sport, wishes Ford Mustang Happy 50th

Tue, 15 Apr 2014

It was 1966 when Chevrolet launched its challenger to the wildly successful Ford Mustang, the Camaro. While the competition between the two brands was already healthy, the arrival of the Camaro set off one of the most intense, model-to-model rivalries in the industry.
That competitive spirit hasn't stopped Chevy and the Camaro from wishing Ford's iconic muscle car a Happy 50th Birthday as the Ford's April 17 anniversary rolls around. These two cars have been linked over the years, and while the rivalry took a break for a few years in the 2000s, today's competition between the Camaro and Mustang is as fierce as it's ever been.
You might recall that this friendliness when it comes to major milestones isn't too rare. Ford put on quite a display for General Motors' hundredth anniversary back in 2008. As the Camaro's fiftieth birthday approaches in 2016, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Mustang sending its best wishes to its Bowtie rival.
