I'm selling my 2008 Chevrolet Trailblazer SS w/3ss AWD in red jewel. It has the 6.0L V8 with 390hp. It has only 6,747 miles !!!! I am a non smoker and it still smells new inside!!! I don't think the back seats have ever been sat in!! I believe it has all options offered for 2008. Leather power heated seats with memory, sunroof, power mirrors, power windows, power door locks with key-less entry (comes with #1 and #2 key fobs) , independent auto climate control, power adjustable floor pedals, navigation, dvd player, Onstar, on board air compressor, steering wheel controls, etc.
I am the 2nd adult owner. The first one was a female and lived in Arizona. It has never been driven in snow or salt. I've never driven it in the rain either. Always garage kept and covered. Battery tender hooked to it while in garage. I've only put roughly 1,500 miles on it in about a year. Three times it was driven on trips of 375- 400 miles. So that's why I am selling, I just never drive it. This is basically a brand new, all stock TBSS and the pictures don't do the red jewel paint justice!! Sticker price new was over 42,000 dollars.
Clear title in hand. No tire kickers. Only serious bidders/buyers please!! Don't bid if you don't have the money in hand!! Have finances in order before auction ends. I would prefer local sale but could ship at buyers expense. I also have it for sale locally and reserve the right to end auction at anytime.
Feel free to ask any questions. You can email me for my cell# if preferred. I can take any specific pictures if desired. GOOD LUCK BIDDING !

Tarantino's stolen Chevy Malibu from Pulp Fiction recovered after 19 years [w/video]
Mon, 29 Apr 2013Quentin Tarantino fans will likely remember Vincent Vega's cherry 1964 Chevrolet Malibu Convertible in Pulp Fiction. In a movie drenched in automotive references, the Malibu is very nearly a character in and of itself, and it serves as the subject of Vega's soliloquy about the kind of man who vandalizes another's automobile. It also happened to be Tarantino's personal car when the film was shot, and was apparently stolen shortly after production wrapped. Now police have located the car some 19 years later.
As it turns out, the thieves cloned the vehicle identification number from another '64 Malibu and had the car registered under the new digits. It was then sold to an unsuspecting buyer. Police happened upon the duplicate VINs while investigating another potential theft. Right now, it's unclear whether Tarantino has taken possession of the Chevrolet, if it has remained in the possession of the fraud victim, or whether it's caught somewhere in the gears of justice. Either way, you can catch Vega's memorable thoughts on the car keying in the Pulp Fiction clip below. But consider yourself warned: the video contains explicit language as Not Safe For Work as it comes.
GM 6.2L V8 claims most powerful light-duty truck engine title
Thu, 12 Sep 2013General Motors has officially captured the horsepower crown for mainstream pickup trucks with its 6.2-liter V8. The big mill, available in both the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, comes to market with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, handily outdoing its two cross-town competitors, Ram (5.7-liter V8, 395 ponies and 407 lb-ft) and Ford (6.2-liter V8, 411 hp and 434 lb-ft).
The new GM 6.2 will take a bit of an investment, though. Those that want the extra thrust will need to go with either the LTZ or High Country trims from the Chevy, or the SLT and Denali trims from GMC, which are the two highest trim levels for the respective vehicles. Trim levels aside, if you're in the business of towing, GM has you covered. Optioned with the 6.2-liter V8 and the Max Trailering Package, owners will be able to pull 12,000 pounds, a hugely impressive figure.
We still aren't certain as to what sort of economy the new engine will get, but it'll probably be a bad bet for the fuel conscious. As for availability, expect to see the 6.2-liter trucks in showrooms later in the fall.
Read This: Auto Extremist advocates for Corvette as brand with multiple models [w/poll]
Fri, 25 Jan 2013The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette really grinds Peter De Lorenzo's gears. Or, more accurately, the self-anointed Auto Extremist has an issue with what he sees as mismanagement of the legendary sports car by General Motors executives. In a new editorial on his website, De Lorenzo argues it's time to split Corvette off from Chevrolet to create an all-new brand, complete with a model range with at least three new takes on the sports car. Capable of fully leveraging the successes of the Corvette Racing program and brandishing the full might of GM's technical prowess, the Corvette brand would theoretically give Porsche something to sweat over.
Sure, that sounds like a party, but given GM's troubled track record when it comes to launching (let alone managing) brands, we say that's slippery slope that could just as easily end with the whole Corvette franchise in the scrap bin. Either way, the notion is certainly an interesting one. Head over to Auto Extremist to take in the full editorial, and then let us know what you think in Comments. Should GM split off its most storied nameplate?
