Up for sale is my daily driver, a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer LS. Selling to get a hybrid because I'm now commuting downstate. The car has 131500 miles on it, I am driving it to/from work still so miles will go up slightly. The car has been well maintained throughout its life and the engine and transmission run strong. All components inside the vehicle are working, AC blows ICE cold. The DVD player for the back seat was installed into the glove compartment but I removed in a year ago and will include it with the vehicle, it just needs to be hooked back up. I have installed an aftermarket K&N Air intake. It sounds great when you step on the gas!
Currently the check engine light is on for the secondary air injection sensor which just needs to be replaced (confirmed by my mechanic). This is a cheap part and a common issue on this year and model. It does not affect the driving of the vehicle. I had the secondary air injection pump replaced last year and water pump replaced less than 2 years ago. Regular oil changes, but it is due for one. It was suggested to replace the sway bar links as well, you can hear these going over large bumps sometimes. There is some minor damage to the left front quarter panel that could probably be hammered out. The front bumper paint is chipped a bit. Please look at all the pictures before bidding! Ask any questions before bidding! Come test drive it before bidding! This is a good running vehicle, no leaks or issues with the engine and will run for a long time! The vehicle is being sold as is! All in all this is a great running SUV and with a little TLC will run well over 200K miles. This vehicle in fair condition is worth $4775. Chevy Camaro is a good sport, wishes Ford Mustang Happy 50th
Tue, 15 Apr 2014It was 1966 when Chevrolet launched its challenger to the wildly successful Ford Mustang, the Camaro. While the competition between the two brands was already healthy, the arrival of the Camaro set off one of the most intense, model-to-model rivalries in the industry.
That competitive spirit hasn't stopped Chevy and the Camaro from wishing Ford's iconic muscle car a Happy 50th Birthday as the Ford's April 17 anniversary rolls around. These two cars have been linked over the years, and while the rivalry took a break for a few years in the 2000s, today's competition between the Camaro and Mustang is as fierce as it's ever been.
You might recall that this friendliness when it comes to major milestones isn't too rare. Ford put on quite a display for General Motors' hundredth anniversary back in 2008. As the Camaro's fiftieth birthday approaches in 2016, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Mustang sending its best wishes to its Bowtie rival.
Callaway debuts its new C7 Stingray at National Corvette Museum
Fri, 02 May 2014Callaway showed off its first tuned version of the 2014 Corvette Stingray at the National Corvette Museum last week, giving the rampant enthusiasts of America's sports car a look at the roughly 620-horsepower, supercharged rocket.
Unlike the Corvette SC610 we showed you back in January, this Stingray packs a fair bit more oomph. Horsepower is only up ten ponies, but torque has jumped from 556 pound-feet to "at least" 600 pound-feet. Neither horsepower nor torque is official quite yet, although Callaway is expecting to know just what its creation can do once testing and validation is completed later this month.
The 6.2-liter, supercharged V8 now boasts a new, three-element intercooler, which Callaway claims only allowed the inlet air temperature to increase by ten degrees Fahrenheit during dyno runs. Previous designs saw a 35-degree-Fahrenheit jump. The exhaust system has also been fettled with, and now is even less restrictive.
Chevrolet Camaros at SEMA are a mobile accessory catalog
Wed, 06 Nov 2013Chevy's goal at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this week seems to be to show as much of its Performance and Accessories catalog as possible. That's why it brought three different Camaros - two with V8s and one powered by a V6 - with all of the best goodies from the catalog already fitted.
We gave a more in-depth recap of the Performance Camaro V8 Concept, the Performance Camaro V6 Concept and the Performance Garage Concept already, but we figured you'd like a short recap for each. It should be noted, though, that you can order all of the items you see here for your own Camaro, so be sure to take a long, hard look at our live galleries, just in case you're in the market for some mods.
Essentially, the Performance Garage Concept and the Performance V8 Concept are the same car - the only difference is that the later features a whole host of aesthetic tweaks in addition to its aftermarket, shorty exhaust headers and 2.75-inch exhaust. (The Performance Garage Concept has been usefully placed on its side; the better to see the new parts added to the vehicle.) The Performance V6 Concept is notable because, despite being a V6, there's no shortage of performance goodies fitted. All three of the Performance Camaros benefit from items from the Camaro ZL1, which can also be ordered through the catalog.
