Up for sale today with NO RESERVE is a 2001 Chevy Tahoe Loaded. Just installed a new Interstate battery, Master Cylinder and Rear Brake Line. The tires are 4 matching tires with above 80% tread remaining. Leather seats show only normal wear with the exception of the drivers seat where it has developed a rip that has been and currently is taped up to prevent it from getting worse. No lights on and no surprises. The exterior of the vehicle is in average condition for a 12 year old vehicle with over 200k miles. Please see pictures as I did show the rust on the rear as well as the small dent on the rear quarter above the bumper. There are chips, scratches and dings throughout the vehicle as you might expect and some small stains here and there on the carpet where the floor mats don't always cover but overall in good condition. The vehicle runs and drives as it should. We did quite a bit of driving with the Tahoe, most years being over 30k and it was taken off the road as we just didn't believe it was reliable enough to continue to put that kind of mileage on. As you can see in the pictures it does have the two seats in the rear for the third row seating. It has towed a small utility trailer from time to time but nothing major. As the winner will see upon pickup, we have no shortage of trucks here for towing purposes. It is the original motor and tranny, with only normal maintenace work being performed over the years. We are the second owners of the Tahoe and it was bought locally back in the fall of 2006 with 83k miles, knowing the original owners quite well. Other than the tear in the drivers seat the only other issue inside the vehicle is the center console latch does not currently work and it has a hard time staying shut.

2013 Chevy COPO Camaro announced with two new engines and manual option
Thu, 07 Mar 2013Chevrolet is following up the 2012 COPO Camaro with another limited run of the drag-strip-ready production car for 2013. Ditching the superchargers, the 2013 COPO Camaro can only be equipped with one of three naturally aspirated V8 engines, and other new features include the option of a manual transmission, new front springs, some minor styling changes and a lower starting price of $86,000. All cars are designed to abide by the rules of the NHRA's Stock Eliminator or Super Stock classifications, depending on in which series buyers wish to enter their Chevrolet Camaro.
Returning for 2013 is the 427-cubic-inch V8 producing 425 horsepower, but the new engines include a 325-hp 350-CID V8 and a 375-hp 396-CID V8. Buyers can select to purchase all three engines, and each will be matched with the sequence number of that car; the track-only COPO cars will not have vehicle identification numbers and can't be registered for street use.
Chevrolet is also offering unique enthusiast-specific options such as a COPO Build Book and the opportunity for owners to help assemble their car's engine at the Chevrolet Performance Build Center in Wixom, MI.
Corvette Stingray Shooting Brake under consideration by Callaway [w/poll]
Mon, 18 Mar 2013Callaway has released a few renderings of a design study for a shooting brake version of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The company says it wants to create a long-roof version of America's sports car to offer buyers more interior room and a vehicle with "unique style." The company says it will use structural carbon fiber for the new body bits, which suggests the conversion shouldn't add too much more weight to the Corvette. Along with a few mechanical tweaks, the Callaway Corvette Stingray AeroWagon could breeze past the 200 miles per hour barrier.
Provided that they get enough interest, Callaway estimates they will be able to effect the changes on the Chevrolet for around $15,000, and says the conversion work should be available through its network of dealers. Hot Wheels Camaro to make big debut at Indy
Fri, 05 Apr 2013Chevrolet handed over the keys to 33 Hot Wheels Camaro Convertible Indianapolis 500 festival cars this week. Race directors get the luxury of driving the droptops around Indianapolis in an ongoing tradition with roots all the way back to the 1960s. The stunt is supposed to remind area residents that the Indy 500 is right around the corner. The cars are our first look at the special Camaro Hot Wheels Edition in convertible form, and they are slated to head to dealers after a one-time production run. The cars also represent the first time in history full-size Hot Wheels have been offered for sale by an automaker.
The cars will be available in both the previously seen coupe bodystyle and this convertible configuration, and will feature metallic blue paint and special wheels with the iconic redline accent. Buyers will be able to choose between the V6-powered 2LT trim and the V8-powered 2SS guise.
Hot Wheels says the original Custom Camaro toy was one of the original 16 1:64-scale diecasts, and it remains one of the company's most valuable collector items today.
