I am selling my 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe Limited
It is a rare Limited Edition Chevrolet of which less than 9000 were made total. It is the last old body style Tahoe but  a 2000 Model Year.
Only came in black onyx metallic exterior.
2wd, auto trans, 5.7L engine.
174k miles

Interior: Factory Denali interior seats no tears, some normal interior wear. 8 of 10

Engine and transmission: Runs and shift flawlessly, A/ C works perfectly, brakes are great, NO LEAKS WHATSOEVER, I park it on my new concrete driveway and not a spot on it!!  7 of 10 (because of mileage only)

Exterior: New tires and FACTORY NEW Alloy Wheels x 4 (less than 200 miles on them)/ New custom molded interior carpet/ New rear bumper/ New Composite headlamps and frt markers/ New taillights/ New windshield/ New shocks x 4
Some exterior nicks and dings, some dimples in the left door, one in the rear barn door.  6 of 10 (because of dings)

The vehicle shows very very well, even with the dings and original paint.  I am not a guy that is going to try to tell you the vehicle "only" has 174k, or "low miles for it's age."  It is what it is, a rare vehicle to own for a good price, a little piece of Chevrolet history, a daily driver that is very functional.  It is truly a LIMITED model.  I am sure you know what you are looking at, so if it's for you, bid and get it!! I am just needing a later model vehicle for my current transportation needs.
Serious inquiries only  please.  Will be happy to take pics of anything on the vehicle for you, just email me your cell number and will take/ send right away.
All items sold as-is, no warranty, no refund, no exchange, no exception.  My feedback 100% for a reason, bid/buy with confidence.  I have this vehicle for sale locally and reserve the right to end this auction early if it sells accordingly.
I have a clean NC Title in hand.

Chevrolet Camaros at SEMA are a mobile accessory catalog

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

Chevy's goal at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this week seems to be to show as much of its Performance and Accessories catalog as possible. That's why it brought three different Camaros - two with V8s and one powered by a V6 - with all of the best goodies from the catalog already fitted.
We gave a more in-depth recap of the Performance Camaro V8 Concept, the Performance Camaro V6 Concept and the Performance Garage Concept already, but we figured you'd like a short recap for each. It should be noted, though, that you can order all of the items you see here for your own Camaro, so be sure to take a long, hard look at our live galleries, just in case you're in the market for some mods.
Essentially, the Performance Garage Concept and the Performance V8 Concept are the same car - the only difference is that the later features a whole host of aesthetic tweaks in addition to its aftermarket, shorty exhaust headers and 2.75-inch exhaust. (The Performance Garage Concept has been usefully placed on its side; the better to see the new parts added to the vehicle.) The Performance V6 Concept is notable because, despite being a V6, there's no shortage of performance goodies fitted. All three of the Performance Camaros benefit from items from the Camaro ZL1, which can also be ordered through the catalog.

Watch how Corvette Racing's new collision-avoidance radar system works

Fri, 22 Mar 2013

When it comes to technology used in racecars, we generally expect it to trickle down to production cars, not the other way around. Well, Pratt & Miller has developed a new rear-facing radar that operates in a similar fashion to what we're used to in modern blind spot detection systems, only it is also capable of tracking cars as they approach and relaying vital information to the driver via a large display screen.
The innovative radar system debuted at last weekend's 12 Hours of Sebring for Corvette Racing, and this system makes perfect sense for endurance races like this since the cars sometimes have to drive through the night and in poor weather conditions.
The radar can detect cars even with poor visibility, and uses easy-to-distinguish symbols for the driver to identify.

Pure Vision Design TT Camaro has 1,400 reasons to want it

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

We've talked about Pure Vision Design before, a California-based company that made waves at last year's SEMA show with its Martini-liveried, Indy-car-powered Ford Mustang. That same car later starred in a Petrolicious video we showed you just a few weeks back. The company's latest creation is a menacing car it calls the Pure Vision Design TT Camaro. Based on a 1972 model, this car shares the Martini Mustang's clean styling and obsession with details.
Unlike the Mustang, which draws its power from a mid-60s Lotus-Ford Indycar engine, the "TT" in this Camaro's name implies something far more potent. The Nelson Racing Engines 427-cubic-inch V8 has been fitted with a pair of turbochargers, with a claimed output of 1,400 horsepower. That's almost 1,000 more than the Martini Mustang.
A six-speed Magnum transmission dispatches that power to the ground, while Pirelli PZero tires are tasked with (somehow) trying to grip the road. Baer brakes hide behind those HRE rims, while JRI coilovers and HyperTech springs bless the Camaro with some degree of competency in the bends.
