Leather interior overall is in reasonable condition, tear in the driver seat side as shown in the photos. We have the rear 3rd seat in storage which is like new. The truck has an upgraded Pioneer stereo, Kicker door speakers, and a JBL amp and single sub woofer which was recently installed, it has bluetooth and voice activation. The truck has been maintained / serviced, we are the 3rd owners, we have replaced the drivers window motor, rear cargo door actuator (barn / ambulance doors) drivers inside door handle, installed new larger fold out towing mirrors and did the stereo and tires installed. We have service records from the previous two owners, same family, who owned it since new. In 2009 the truck had 109k miles and they had the local chevrolet dealer perform: rear brakes, axle seals, cv boots, fuel filter, brake fluid flush, ignition module and toner ring. The previous owner also said the fuel pump was replaced at approximately 90k miles. The truck runs and drives great, only item we would mention is the parking brake light (not ABS) is lit on the dash, the parking brake is not on, but the light is, has not been a big deal for us. We recently purchased a new dodge crewcab diesel and no longer need the suburban, this a heavy duty towing and caravaning vehicle, please feel free to ask questions. Located in Mount Pleasant TN, we can assist if you want to fly in and drive, or if you would like to have the vehicle shipped we will be glad to help arrange that. |

Chevy Corvette gets Valet Mode with Performance Data Recorder [w/video]
Mon, 18 Aug 2014For the 2015-model-year, Chevrolet introduces Valet Mode for the Corvette, an enhancement to the Performance Data Recorder (PDR) already available and to your peace of mind. The PDR already captures 720p HD video with a windshield-mounted camera, records interior audio with a cabin microphone and gathers telemetry data using GPS, saving the data to an SD card in the glovebox. You can then watch your track-day antics with various information overlays on the center console screen.
Valet Mode will let you hit 'Replay' when your car gets pulled up front smelling vaguely of fricasseed clutch. Turned on by entering a four-digit code, it also locks the interior storage spaces and turns off the infotainment system. It can't be turned off until the code is re-entered. There's a press release below with more information as well as a video that explains how it works, with the obligatory dig at the 'Vette's biggest foe.
Steve McQueen's last movie car, now Pawn Stars-owned, up for auction [w/video]
Sun, 03 Feb 2013The last car Steve McQueen ever drove in a movie is officially up for auction. The 1951 Chevrolet Styline DeLuxe Convertible you see above is now owned by none other than Rick Harrison of Pawn Stars fame, but once ferried McQueen around the set of his last film, 1980's The Hunter. That flick saw the Bullit star play a bumbling bounty hunter and didn't exactly set the box office on fire. McQueen bought the car after production wrapped, and four years later it sold at his estate sale at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas.
Flash forward to 2003, and the convertible received a full restoration back to near-stock specifications. Hagerty Insurance estimates the car to be worth around $45,000 without the significant providence. Given its ties to one of film's most popular gearheads, the old Chevrolet could fetch up to 10 times that when it goes under the gavel in Ft Luaderdale, Florida on March 22. You can head over to the Auctions America site for more information. You can also check out the trailer for The Hunter below.
