This thing is loaded, lifted, big & bad!!! Black over grey leather with black carpet. 3 rows of seats. 3 TV screens, HD tow package, Dual AC, Heated/Memory seats, Moonroof, too much to list. The truck has been professionally lifted with a 4" lift kit from lift kit warehouse (over $2k) it rides like a dream..no creaks, rattles, harsh ride, etc..that you may expect from a lifted vehicle...this one rides like its stock! It rolls on WELD WHEELS wrapped with LT285/75/R16 General Grabber AT 2's that are like brand new (almost another $2k). The paint is original & in very good condition having minor chips & scratches that are average for its age. There is one spot on the hood about the size of a silver dollar that could use some help. The body is near perfect with 1 small dent underneath the drivers taillight right by the bumper that's hardly noticeable. Mechanically it runs PERFECT!!! No leaks or noises. The carpet is in great shape, no cracks on the dash or door panels, seats are average..showing cracks & wear on the outer bolsters but are NOT ripped up or torn in anyway. There is a video system alpine I think, with 3 TV Screens..1 dropdown & 2 in the headrests. I don't know for sure if it works as I have no clue how to turn it on or use it. Dual A/C that blows ICE COLD but for some reason it blows out the top, bottom or sides perfectly but will not switch over to the front vents when you turn the knob. The only other issue is that the passenger side window will not go down..you can hear the motor move just fine but the window doesn't..may be off the track. I plan on addressing that if I have the time to before it sells. Check my feedback...been on here for years & never a problem..I try to be as honest & descriptive as I can so please bid with confidence & bid to win!! Steve McQueen's last movie car, now Pawn Stars-owned, up for auction [w/video]
Sun, 03 Feb 2013The last car Steve McQueen ever drove in a movie is officially up for auction. The 1951 Chevrolet Styline DeLuxe Convertible you see above is now owned by none other than Rick Harrison of Pawn Stars fame, but once ferried McQueen around the set of his last film, 1980's The Hunter. That flick saw the Bullit star play a bumbling bounty hunter and didn't exactly set the box office on fire. McQueen bought the car after production wrapped, and four years later it sold at his estate sale at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas.
Flash forward to 2003, and the convertible received a full restoration back to near-stock specifications. Hagerty Insurance estimates the car to be worth around $45,000 without the significant providence. Given its ties to one of film's most popular gearheads, the old Chevrolet could fetch up to 10 times that when it goes under the gavel in Ft Luaderdale, Florida on March 22. Mon, 27 May 2013If the 2013 Indy 500 were a movie it would be the one expected to win all the little statues come awards season, and if it were an athlete it would have made spectators watch in awe as it broke record after record. And this kind of talk comes after last year's race was considered one of the best ever - the last lap hijinks in 2012 and Takuma Sato's crash leading to a podium ceremony straight out of a Golden Globes tearjerker.
But this year's race delivered more than anyone expected, from the 250,000 fans to the commentators to the IndyCar series itself and, finally, to the guy who hopped through a two-mile window on Lap 197 to take the lead and keep it until the end.
New Bright creating exclusive 1:8 scale radio-controlled C7 Corvette
Mon, 04 Feb 2013If you want a new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette but can't quite save up enough pennies for the monthly payment, we have good news for you. Toymaker New Bright has pulled the covers off of its 1:8 scale remote-controlled version of the American sports car. Complete with a very detailed interior and LED headlights, this large-scale R/C is as close as most of us will ever come to having one of the menacing Chevrolet models to call our very own. New Bright still hasn't released pricing or availability, but word has it the coupe should hit the market soon.
Right now, it appears as if the C7 will hit shelves in Torch Red, though we don't know if other colors are planned as well. The good news is that New Bright isn't exactly turning its back on the old C6 - representatives say the company will continue to make its popular C6R racecar for those who prefer round taillights.
