UP FOR SALE IS MY 2008 CHEVROLET 3500 HD SILVERADO WITH 240K MILES WHICH ARE ALL HWY.I BOUGHT THIS TRUCK NEW AND AM THE ONLY OWNER AND THE TRUCK IS FULLY LOADED WITH LEATHER HEATED SEATS SUNROOF,PWR SEATS,GPS AND ESPECIALLY HEAVY DUTY 30K FIFTH WHEEL.ALL THE TIRES ARE ABOUT 85%.I ALWAYS SERVICED THE TRUCK FROM DEALER AND SHE RUNS AND DRIVES LIKE NEW.T.HE TRANSMISSION IS AUTO 6 SPEED AND IT SHIFTS VERY SMOOTH FROM GEAR TO GEAR.I WAS TOLD BEFORE I BOUGHT THIS TRUCK THAT THE DURAMAX ENGINE AND ALLISON TRANS WAS THE BEST COMBINATION I CAN EVER GET AND I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH WHAT I GOT IN EVERY ASPECT. Refreshed 2014 Camaro confirmed for New York debut
Thu, 07 Mar 2013We've already seen leaked specs and potential spy shots, but the refreshed 2014 Chevrolet Camaro will make its official debut at the New York Auto Show in a few weeks.
Besides a tweaked exterior and the possibility of a high-output LS7 under the hood, we really don't know much else about the 2014 Camaro, but here's hoping for an improved interior, too.
In addition to the refreshed Camaro, Chevrolet will also be showing off the recently introduced Chevrolet SS, making its debut on the auto show circuit, and we'll also get our first look at the C7 Corvette coupe and convertible side-by-side.
UAW to vote on strike at Kentucky Corvette plant
Tue, 08 Apr 2014The current wait time for a new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is well, not short. With word of a strike at the Bowling Green, KY factory responsible for seventh-generation sports car, though, that wait time could end up growing substantially.
Now, a strike is still a ways off. UAW Local 2164, which represents the 800 workers responsible for screwing the Corvette together, is set to vote on authorizing a strike today, but even if the employees give the action a go, it's far from a sure thing. According to The Tennessean, both regional and national union officials would need to put their stamp of approval on strike action.
"The membership has to vote to strike, but it's just a step in the process," said Gary Casteel, the UAW's Region 8 director and one of the people that would need to authorize a strike action. Casteel told The Tennessean, "It's purely a local situation, though. They are having some issues with the local management."
