Hey there, Its time to sell my 07 Silverado Duramax due to a recent addition to the family.  I will do my best to describe the the good and the bad.  I have owned the truck for about 2 years.  I bought it from an older gentlemen and the truck was 100% stock.  I will start off by saying that I am a GM Master tech and I have personal done all of the work that has been done to the truck.  The truck has been babied as long as Ive owned it and is not beat to death like most of the diesel trucks you will see for sale!  I just had it fully detailed on 8-26.  This truck has the LBZ motor which in my opinion is the most desirable due to the fact it is the highest horsepower and torque before they started choking them all up with emissions crap.  Also LBZ does not have the injector problems like previous generations.  Everything that has been replaced has been OEM GM parts, no aftermarket junk!  Just so we are clear, this is a 7year old truck and is not perfect.  However in great overall condition, you will see an occasional ding or small scratch.  There has been no paint or body work done to the truck.  There is an area inside the tailgate where there is rust but hasnt spread since i have owned it plus it cant be seen.  The only other "surface rust" you will see is a couple of spots where stones chipped the paint on the rockers and i just never got around to clean it up and touch it up.  During the oil change that i did last week i noticed both front CV axle boots were starting to leak and i dont really have time to fix them (a cheap fix)  I do have the stock wheels but not the stock exhaust.  UPGRAGES:  I'm not into crazy lifted trucks but it is lifted just enough to to get the wheels and tires under it.  It has torsion keys in the front and extra leaf springs in the rear, also extended Bilstein HD shocks in the front and rear.  20" KCM XD wheels and Nitto trail grappler tires (5/32 front 7/32 rear), MBRP 4" straight aluminized turboback exhaust, Engine is mostly stock except K&N air filter,   RARTS REPLACED:  Did not skimp on replacing things that needed replaced.  I did not wait until there was a problem most of the time.  Mostly every common problem part has been replaced.  Had a bad tierod about 6 mon. ago so i replaced every part in the front end with lifetime Moog parts.  All 4 ball joints, all 4 tie rod ends, idler arm and pitman arm.  Brakes and Rotors were done about 5k miles ago.  1 new ACDelco battery,  Both rear Axle seals were replaced.  Rear pinion seal was replaced.  All Transmission cooler lines were replaced and cooler was backflushed.  The steering wheel was dingy when i got the truck so i replaced it with a new OEM one.  Every fluid on the truck has been replaced and or flushed including all filters internal and external.  I am super meticulous when it comes to service and maintenance.  Truck has had regular oil changes every 4k miles.  Fuel filter was always replaced at 50%  I do have the clean title in hand and is clear of all debts or loans.  I'm sure there are things that i am forgetting but i will add it as i think about it.  First deposit or cash in hand takes it.  I will not hold it for anyone with out a deposit.  I am pretty firm on the price because i am asking exactly what they go for.  I am up on all of the scams so please dont waste your time!  The truck is located in Bloomsburg PA 17815  Thanks for looking and if you have any questions please message me and i will try to get back to you as soon as i can.

2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra introduced

GM 6.2L V8 claims most powerful light-duty truck engine title

Thu, 12 Sep 2013

General Motors has officially captured the horsepower crown for mainstream pickup trucks with its 6.2-liter V8. The big mill, available in both the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, comes to market with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, handily outdoing its two cross-town competitors, Ram (5.7-liter V8, 395 ponies and 407 lb-ft) and Ford (6.2-liter V8, 411 hp and 434 lb-ft).
The new GM 6.2 will take a bit of an investment, though. Those that want the extra thrust will need to go with either the LTZ or High Country trims from the Chevy, or the SLT and Denali trims from GMC, which are the two highest trim levels for the respective vehicles. Trim levels aside, if you're in the business of towing, GM has you covered. Optioned with the 6.2-liter V8 and the Max Trailering Package, owners will be able to pull 12,000 pounds, a hugely impressive figure.
We still aren't certain as to what sort of economy the new engine will get, but it'll probably be a bad bet for the fuel conscious. As for availability, expect to see the 6.2-liter trucks in showrooms later in the fall.

Next Corvette ZR1 to get 700 horsepower?

Tue, 19 Feb 2013

Word has it General Motors may offer as much as 700 horsepower in the C7 Corvette ZR1. Motor Trend reports the next Corvette Z06 will continue to rely on its naturally aspirated 7.0-liter V8 engine for thrust, but the lump will deliver substantially more power. How much more? MT says the engine could deliver up to 600 ponies. That's a jump of 95 horsepower over the current Z06, though no figures have been finalized as of yet. Right now, GM is reportedly waiting to see what sort of grunt it can glean from the next ZR1.
The automaker has already made it clear it will resurrect the LT5 name for the new supercharged V8, and if GM is already pulling 600 from the Z06, the big dog ZR1 would theoretically offer 700 horsepower. Either way, the range-topping Corvette will be suitably insulated from its less potent siblings. Stay tuned. We aren't likely to see the Z06 for at least a year, with the ZR1 trailing along at some point there after.
