2000 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Z71 with the LT package and 3 doors. This is the top of the line model minus the 4th door. Leather interior, pw, pdl, auto-dimming mirror, bedliner heated mirrors, heated seats. This truck has the 5.3L V8 and it runs flawlessly. 4wd works perfectly and within last 7K new tires (Cooper Discoverer AT3) have been put on the truck and emergency brake replaced. I'm the third owner of the truck and it was last owned by an elderly gentleman who took care of this truck doing every bit of service required by the manual. The only problems with the truck are that it was hit a few weeks ago on the passenger side (1 dent on passenger and rear dear, bed bent in just a little and then bend/paint behind the wheel) and the compass/temp display has started only working some of the time. Truck will need brakes in the next year or so, but otherwise it needs nothing else. This truck has 157K on it, no leaks, and the interior/exterior are in great shape minus the passenger side from the hit and run. I've displayed pictures but if you want more information please contact me. I'm mainly looking to trade for or sell to buy a 1996-1998 Z71 extended cab with 5 speed manual transmission. I want a straight drive pickup again.
On Jul-21-14 at 20:28:45 PDT, seller added the following information: Just to note, the truck no longer has the side steps or the chrome molding around the wheel wells. The dents caused by the hit and run with damage to the bed isn't that bad and only noticeable when you get less than about 15-20 feet away. Tires in the pics are Michelins, but they've been replaced with the Cooper Discoverer AT3 tires. |

Refreshed 2014 Camaro confirmed for New York debut
Thu, 07 Mar 2013We've already seen leaked specs and potential spy shots, but the refreshed 2014 Chevrolet Camaro will make its official debut at the New York Auto Show in a few weeks.
Besides a tweaked exterior and the possibility of a high-output LS7 under the hood, we really don't know much else about the 2014 Camaro, but here's hoping for an improved interior, too.
In addition to the refreshed Camaro, Chevrolet will also be showing off the recently introduced Chevrolet SS, making its debut on the auto show circuit, and we'll also get our first look at the C7 Corvette coupe and convertible side-by-side.
Next Corvette ZR1 to get 700 horsepower?
Tue, 19 Feb 2013Word has it General Motors may offer as much as 700 horsepower in the C7 Corvette ZR1. Motor Trend reports the next Corvette Z06 will continue to rely on its naturally aspirated 7.0-liter V8 engine for thrust, but the lump will deliver substantially more power. How much more? MT says the engine could deliver up to 600 ponies. That's a jump of 95 horsepower over the current Z06, though no figures have been finalized as of yet. Right now, GM is reportedly waiting to see what sort of grunt it can glean from the next ZR1.
The automaker has already made it clear it will resurrect the LT5 name for the new supercharged V8, and if GM is already pulling 600 from the Z06, the big dog ZR1 would theoretically offer 700 horsepower. Either way, the range-topping Corvette will be suitably insulated from its less potent siblings. Stay tuned. We aren't likely to see the Z06 for at least a year, with the ZR1 trailing along at some point there after.
Are you the 2014 Corvette Grand Sport?
Thu, 21 Feb 2013When are stripes more than just stripes? Follow up question: Is the product development team at Chevrolet really cocky enough to hide the next C7 Corvette variant in plain sight? This very recently spotted, and ostensibly obscured C7 asks a lot more questions than it answers, but there's at least some evidence to support that it might be the next Corvette Grand Sport.
The first and most obvious tip-off that something is up with this 'Vette revolves around those silver stripes. Obviously the stripes themselves don't necessarily denote a new model. However, when Chevy recently launched its "colorizer" website for the Stingray, there was no provision made for racing stripes - solid colors only.
Grand Sport exhibit number two is actually an incriminating lack of badges. The production Corvettes we've seen to date have all carried Stingray badges on their fenders, just behind the vent. The car seen in these images has no such badges, which is an intriguing omission on an car that looks like a production-spec vehicle otherwise.
