1994 gmc sierra 1500 extended cab 4x4
Up for sale is my 1994 extended cab pickup truck. i bought this truck to fix up and plow with but i got a town job so i dont need this. i plow with the towns truck. this truck is in overall decent shape. it runs well. the motor and 4x4 work great. it has a remote start in it. i have never used it because the remote batterys are dead but i was told it works. THE TRANS IS NEWLY REBUILT WITH ABOUT 5000 MILES ON IT. this is what i was told from the previous owner. the interior is very clean. it has a rear sliding window. it does have the normal cab corner rot that all chevys have. there is a small dent in the passenger fender. the windshield got cracked in the last storm we had. a tree branch fell on it. THIS TRUCK HAS BEEN SITTING FOR A FEW MONTHS SINCE I DONT NEED IT. WHEN I WENT OUT TO MOVE IT THE BACK BRAKES ARE NOT WORKING. I THINK A BRAKE LINE BLEW. THE RESEVOIR IS EMPTY. THE FRONT BRAKES STILL WORK FINE.
**** I WILL INCLUDE WITH THE TRUCK A DIAMOND PLATE TOOLBOX, LADDER RACKS, A PIONEER CD PLAYER WITH REMOTE, AND A SATELITE RADIO RECIEVER.
THIS AUCTION IS FOR THE TRUCK INCLUDING THE WESTERN UNIMOUNT SNOWPLOW. it has a unimount plow already on it in working condition. the motor on it is brand new with stickers still on it. i also have the rubber flap for the front of the plow.
*****YOU ARE INTERESTED IN JUST THE TRUCK PLEASE LET ME KNOW. I AMWILLING TO SEPERATE. I WANTED TO KEEP THE PLOW ANYWAY BUT I FIGURE I WOULD SELL IT COMPLETE SO I DONT HAVE TO TAKE IT OFF . I can get you pictures of the plow if interested. it is in the bed of the truck now and i didnt want to unload it.
OVERALL THIS IS A GREAT WORK TRUCK! IT STARTS EVERYTIME AND WILL GET THE JOB DONE. IM NOT LOOKING FOR A FORTUANE. JUST LOOKING TO GET MY MONEY BACK THAT I PAID FOR IT.
****** I DO HAVE A CAR TRAILER. I WILL DELIVER LOCALLY FOR FREE IF YOU WIN THE AUCTION. IF YOU ARE TOO FAR AWAY WE CAN TALK PRICE FOR DELIVERY. I AM HAPPY TO DELIVER IF YOU COVER MY GAS****

********I forgot to add that i have another truck i bought for spare parts since i have two more of the identical truck. i can include a winshield out of my parts truck in the sale but you would be responsible for installation. It is still in the other truck so i would have to take it out. i am not guarenteeing i can get it out without breaking it but i will try. i have never taken one out.

GM 6.2L V8 claims most powerful light-duty truck engine title
Thu, 12 Sep 2013General Motors has officially captured the horsepower crown for mainstream pickup trucks with its 6.2-liter V8. The big mill, available in both the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, comes to market with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, handily outdoing its two cross-town competitors, Ram (5.7-liter V8, 395 ponies and 407 lb-ft) and Ford (6.2-liter V8, 411 hp and 434 lb-ft).
The new GM 6.2 will take a bit of an investment, though. Those that want the extra thrust will need to go with either the LTZ or High Country trims from the Chevy, or the SLT and Denali trims from GMC, which are the two highest trim levels for the respective vehicles. Trim levels aside, if you're in the business of towing, GM has you covered. Optioned with the 6.2-liter V8 and the Max Trailering Package, owners will be able to pull 12,000 pounds, a hugely impressive figure.
We still aren't certain as to what sort of economy the new engine will get, but it'll probably be a bad bet for the fuel conscious. As for availability, expect to see the 6.2-liter trucks in showrooms later in the fall.
2014 Chevrolet Silverado tows in new configurator, microsite
Mon, 21 Jan 2013Judging by your continued enthusiastic response to configurator notices, dear reader, you enjoy speccing out new cars as much as we do. Better still, there tends to be even more ways to personalize, configure and bloat theoretical MSRPs on full-size trucks as there are with more ordinary passenger cars. In addition to trim level, engine and transmission choices, truck buyers usually have to specify items like cab configuration, bed length, number of driven axles, tow packages, gear ratios and all sorts of bits and bobs.
That's why we're pleased to see the DIY specification utility for the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado come alive so soon after this week's Detroit Auto Show debut. While the configurator lacks pricing (General Motors hasn't announced numbers yet) and full options, you can still spec out your half-ton rig, and even print it out or email it to your friends. Beyond the configurator, the new model-specific site is pretty cool, too, with various videos and closer looks at the truck's new features.
The new Chevrolet pickup range won't be on dealer lots until sometime this summer, so whether you're a building contractor, an avid sportsman or just a guy or gal that loves full-size trucks, you might want to check out the link below to keep your appetite whetted. If you're more of a Sierra fan, well, it looks like you're going to have to wait a while - GMC hasn't updated its site yet.
Next-gen Chevy Cruze caught cruising in the cold
Wed, 13 Feb 2013Spy photographers have caught what looks like the next-generation Chevrolet Cruze out on snow patrol. The camo could be tricking our eyes, but it look like it has an even tidier, more rounded front end and even lower fenders in relation to the top of the hood. And either a chunk of camo has been wedged between the side mirrors and the doors, or the mirrors are up for revision, too.
The door handles have been moved up the side of the car, leading the way to a rear end that grows a bit in length. If the rumors are true, the coming second-generation Cruze sits on the new D2XX platform that will replace the Delta and Theta platforms at General Motors. A global architecture, the Cruze will be the first to get it, but it will underpin everything from next Chevrolet Volt to the Equinox and could be responsible for 2.5 million units by 2018. The next Cruze is expected to begin production in GM's Lordstown, Ohio plant in the third quarter of 2014.
