2004 Chevrolet Roadster/convertible Pick Up Truck on 2040-cars
Summitville, New York, United States
Well kept & owned by a 55 year old man. He didn't want to sell, but times/circumstances made the decision. Always garage kept; oil changed every 3000 miles instead of dealer stating it only needed every 5k or 6k. Used best oils. Truck presently is fully functional with all items operational. Only items not working is speedometer & mirrors. A new fuel pump was just installled (mounted in gas tank). Very quick machine & fun for all purposes. Good heater & A/C. Top operates correctly. Only several small scratches here, & there. Two sets of keys & FOBs. An AutoCheck report shows NO accidents/liens/salvage or rebuilt title (clean & clear), NO dealer or rental agency usage, NO police confiscations (such as drug busts), or similar. History goes through usual sales & routes to the last owner in 2007. I purchased it while in the area buying other cars.
I am the owner/seller in Jacksonville,FL (Howard; 904-881-3495). The Car is in Sumittville, N.Y. where my good friend is storing & handling release to its new buyer. It has had a thorough evaluation & testing. It has many dependable years ahead on this future collectible, enjoyable machine of style. It can be driven anywhere (top up, or top down).

Chevy Corvette Stingray "colorizer" lets you chase the rainbow
Thu, 14 Feb 2013After you've convinced your better half to let you buy a new Corvette, then comes the hard part... actually figuring out which 'Vette you want. While Chevrolet has yet to release the official configurator for the 2014 Corvette Stingray, it did give us something else to kill some time playing around with.
The C7 Corvette "colorizer" recently went online, and it lets you look at the car in all of its available colors and wheel options from four different angles so that when this car does go on sale, you know exactly which one you want. It includes the Corvette's full pallet of colors including Torch Red, Laguna Blue and the hue you see above, Velocity Yellow. Toss in the black wheels, and we're sold. If you have some time this afternoon, be sure to check it out the Corvette colorizer for yourself, and even if you don't have the time, we've put together a gallery with all of the possible color combinations.
PickupTrucks.com's latest test results in a familiar winner [w/video]
Wed, 19 Jun 2013PickupTrucks.com has gone and thrown the latest batch of half-ton pickups into a cage match to see who would come out on top. The site put the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, 2013 Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan through a battery of tests. Those included 0-60 miles per hour acceleration, 60-0 mph deceleration, fuel economy, a hill climb, and payload and towing. They even threw the rigs on an autocross course to evaluate overall handling. Each truck was given points based on how it scored in each evaluation.
Who came out on top? Somewhat surprisingly, the 2013 Ford F-150 walked away with the gold, though fewer than 50 points separated first and fourth place. Head over to PickupTrucks.com to read the full evaluation and the final results. You may be shocked to see exactly where some of the segment's newest additions placed. You can also watch a video on the test below.
Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you
Thu, 21 Feb 2013As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.
