Nice S10 long-bed,4cyl,automatic, air (cold), tinted glass, rally wheels, bed-coat vinyl, tonneau bed-cover,dual air-bags, window-hood-guards, August Virginia inspected (mechanics: brakes, ball joints, lights, etc. good condition/passed) Kenwood stereo-CD player, carpeted, contoured cloth seats, dash-carpet-headliner etc. all very nice to excellent-no tears-rips etc. "straight" vehicle, original paint, no rust. VA title lists 69k miles, but speedometer reads 149,000. Many parts replaced over the years. Super comfortable truck,easy-driving, great gas mileage. This is not a new truck, so I am selling 'as is', but the motor is 'tight' with never any smoke, etc., no body rattles etc. to mention; simply a hard-to-find item, ideal for first-driver, street-rod builder, 'city hauling', lots of fun little truck. I am selling because I have too many vehicles, and something has to go. I am also selling a 2001 Z-28 with 2,500 actual miles; if it sells first, I'll be glad to keep the S10. Price is non-negotiable; it's less than my brother paid for his lawn-tractor !

GM recalls Chevy Express, GMC Savana over rollaway concern
Mon, 21 Jan 2013The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall notice for a small number of General Motors fullsize vans due to possible rollaway concerns. On certain 2013 Chevrolet Express and 2013 GMC Savana models, it is possible to remove the key from the ignition without the shifter being in park.
Only 980 total units are being affected by this recall, and GM is fixing the issue by replacing the ignition cylinder and associated keys. Affected Chevy vans were built during most of November and December while its GMC counterpart was only built for a week in November. The recall goes into effect on January 23, and to find out if your vehicle applies to the recall, the GM and NHTSA contact numbers can be found on the official recall notice, which is posted below.
Corvette Stingray Shooting Brake under consideration by Callaway [w/poll]
Mon, 18 Mar 2013Callaway has released a few renderings of a design study for a shooting brake version of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The company says it wants to create a long-roof version of America's sports car to offer buyers more interior room and a vehicle with "unique style." The company says it will use structural carbon fiber for the new body bits, which suggests the conversion shouldn't add too much more weight to the Corvette. Along with a few mechanical tweaks, the Callaway Corvette Stingray AeroWagon could breeze past the 200 miles per hour barrier.
Provided that they get enough interest, Callaway estimates they will be able to effect the changes on the Chevrolet for around $15,000, and says the conversion work should be available through its network of dealers. You can check out the brief press release below for more information, or head over to the Callaway site to plunk down a deposit - but before you do, we want to know... do you find this C7 wagon interesting?
