Very low mileage 2002 Chevrolet S10 2WD. Strong 4.3L V6 with a manual transmission. A/C, cruise control, not equipped with power windows or power door locks (base model truck). Interior and body are in great shape, vehicle runs great and transmission is rock solid. This is a rust free 2 owner CA/AZ car with no accidents. The drivers side door was replaced prior to my purchasing the vehicle (I only suspect this due to some red paint showing through on the interior of the door). The dash has some cracks in it but nothing to extreme and I have put a dash mat in the vehicle and replaced the vent cover in the center of the dashboard. There is a dent below the passenger side tailight, otherwise the body is in very good condition. The interior has no rips or tears in the seat.
Carfax rates this vehicle Kelley Blue Book PLUS (+) $560.00. Kelley Blue Book (KBB) values are private party low $5278.00, good $5728.00, very good $5853.00 and excellent $6128.00. My reserve is set below the low KBB. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at mikesclassiccars@yahoo.com or 602-376-0024. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time as the vehicle is for sale locally. Arizona residents may have to pay sales tax. |

GM sweetens military discount for Buick, Chevy and GMC
Sun, 06 Oct 2013American servicemen and women interested in a new vehicle from Chevrolet, Buick or GMC now have a bit more incentive to head down to their local dealer, as General Motors has announced plans to improve its military discount program.
The new GM Military Discount Program offers eligible consumers a new Chevy, Buick or GMC at invoice pricing, which in some cases can take very large chunks out of a car's retail price. When factored in with other incentives, most of which are available with the Military Discount, the bargains are thick on the ground for members of the US armed forces.
GM's Retail Sales and Marketing Support general manager, Chuck Thomson, said, "GM has long supported the military and military families, and we hope this simplified and enhanced discount will show our appreciation for their service and help make it easier for them to own one of our great new vehicles." The program is open to all active duty and reserve members in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, National Guard and Coast Guard, as well as veterans that have been out of the service for less than a year. Military retirees and their spouses are also eligible for the discount.
GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable
Fri, 21 Sep 2012General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.
Supercharged 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 takes the C7 beyond the ZR1
Mon, 13 Jan 2014
The Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
