Found this truck this summer at a garage sale that had been tarped up for 23 years. The old man didn't have time for it anymore. This truck is an original v8 truck. It is missing the motor and transmission, we do have the drive line. The box is in very nice shape. The tail gate needs repair on one side and hinge pins and chains. The wood and rub strips we have came with the truck but needs to be installed. The interior dash is very complete. Radio, wiper motor, instrument cluster, glovebox, door, vent pull knobs. The steering wheel is in very nice shape. The floor had been cut a little for a floor shifter somewhere down the line, but it isn't bad and can be repaired easily. Drivers door needs window regulator and has cracked wing window the outer skin is also separating form the bottom of the door. There is a small hole in the passenger visor area. The outside of the cab in the back on both corners are a little rusty but aren't bad. We have a nice tinted back window for it that came with the truck. This truck has really nice gutters. Don't let the black paint fool you white paint is chipping and flaking off everywhere. It makes it look worse than it is. The front clip is pretty decent  except for the usual rust at the bottom of the fenders. Look closely at the pictures. he engine compartment is pretty clean and it looks like the rear tranny crossmember has been cut. The front brakes and wheels setup are 5 lug now the rear end has the wrong rear end in it and needs to be replaced. Missing the front marker lights. The white wall tires don't go with the truck but can be sold seperately or with the truck if interested. Wheels are Cragar magmaster unilug 15x7 Wide white walls cooper untouchables G78-15 please contact for the price. Have the paperwork form the original owner, releasing itnerested and applying for new title for new owner. Also went to dmv to get updated paperwork dmv says it's good to go. Whoever buys and signs online gets the title.

There once was a time when Daewoo was one of the biggest companies in South Korea. It was larger than both LG and Samsung, and second only to Hyundai. But these days the name is all but gone.

Chevy monitors drivers' biometrics while experiencing new Corvette Stingray

Fri, 25 Oct 2013

We tell you about what a car is like to drive every day, remarking on throttle response, steering weight and feedback, squat, dive, brake fade and a dozen or more other factors of performance. What we can't tell you, though, is what the car does to us - how its performance impacts us, physically. That's what makes this video series from Chevrolet so darn cool.
The Bow-Tie brand rented out Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, got several (very) different individuals together, strapped a bunch of sensors to their bodies to record biometric data ranging from heart rate to respiration to brain activity, and then handed them keys to the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The results are explained in a series of videos, devoted to each driver, showing how different people react to the Corvette's performance.
If, like your author, you're a nerd for medical science, this is going to be a fascinating set of videos. If not, it's still pretty cool to see how the body of someone with racing experience, like Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi, reacts to tracking a car like the Corvette Stingray compared to the owner of legendary Detroit barbecue joint, Slows BBQ. Take a look below for all six videos from the series, or hop over to the Corvette Vimeo channel for the interactive experience, where you can see all the different metrics.

Corvette Stingray Shooting Brake under consideration by Callaway [w/poll]

Mon, 18 Mar 2013

Callaway has released a few renderings of a design study for a shooting brake version of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The company says it wants to create a long-roof version of America's sports car to offer buyers more interior room and a vehicle with "unique style." The company says it will use structural carbon fiber for the new body bits, which suggests the conversion shouldn't add too much more weight to the Corvette. Along with a few mechanical tweaks, the Callaway Corvette Stingray AeroWagon could breeze past the 200 miles per hour barrier.
Provided that they get enough interest, Callaway estimates they will be able to effect the changes on the Chevrolet for around $15,000, and says the conversion work should be available through its network of dealers. You can check out the brief press release below for more information, or head over to the Callaway site to plunk down a deposit - but before you do, we want to know... do you find this C7 wagon interesting?
