up for sale is a real nice 56 chevy pickup.. the restoration was just completed.. it has a 79 chevy 305 motor and a 1985 camaro rebuilt t5 transmission with a new clutch pack.. it has a 12 bolt chevelle rear with a street gear posi rear end and front disc brakes..late model bucket seats, the stock gauges with modern gauges under the dash.. the truck was off the frame and the frame was sand blasted and painted... new brake and gas lines installed..new king pins were added.. the parking lites and tail lites, the bed floor. tail gate, latches and chains are new... stainless hardware was used on the bed..a new desert cooler radiator, belts, hoses and battery were also installed.. the paint is hugger orange semi gloss. it has rally wheels and almost new radials..it runs and handles great, easy to shift and the disc brakes make it safe.. the paint on the inside of the truck cab is original.. this is a no rust truck, the floors are perfect.. please look at the pictures and ask your wife and your banker before you buy.. please ask your questions before you buy.. the truck can be seen at anytime.. there is no warrenty expressed or implied..

Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard
Tue, 19 Mar 2013Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.

This is your 2014 Chevrolet SS
Sat, 16 Feb 2013Think you've waited long enough for this? If so, then you'll want to savor the high-res photos we've so far been given of the 2014 Chevrolet SS, the first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan from The Bowtie in 17 years.
We all know its our version of the brand new VF-model Holden Commodore, but what's under the hood that earns the appellation "performance?" A 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine producing 415 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque. That's 35 hp and lb-ft less than the same engine is expected to produce in the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. Chevrolet says the sedan will get from 0-to-60 miles per hour "in about five seconds."
Shifting comes courtesy of a six-speed automatic with paddles on the steering wheel, while stopping arrive via four-piston Brembo calipers up front, a single sliding piston in back. The forged aluminum wheels are 19-inchers all around, each set supporting right around 50 percent of the sedan's weight, and the aluminum hood and trunk are meant to keep the center of gravity low.
