This is a project vehicle. Truck runs and the trans is strong. Would make a heck of a tow vehicle

Truck starts and runs. I had it tuned up a year ago. Has a 350 with a 2 barrel (I think) and what is supposed to be an Allison 4 speed automatic transmission. This is a medium duty truck good up to 19500 GVWR and it can just about pull anything you want with it. Interior is currently out of the truck Has a CMtrailers.com SK style truck bed which is pretty new.

I have the original bench seats but I also have the seats, center console, roof console, head liner and floor carpet from a 1 ton pick up. Interior parts are in fair condition. Rear was changed out by the previous owner and I have the second rear.

The bed is worth 3000 to 4000 new and is in great shape.

I bought this truck as a project and we know how that can go. I was going to tow my 34' Sean Ray Sedan Bridge with it and needed something with power but I went a different route and am moving to Florida instead of bringing the boat here.

I have a clear title but did not register the truck last year
Truck is bare bones no tilt wheel no A/C.
Because of the brake issue I'm pretty sure the winning buyer will have to have the truck towed. or trailer it out.
The truck weighs approximately 7500 pounds empty
Last issue is I will need the truck to be picked up or moved by the 26th of this month as it parked behind the house I'm moving out of.

Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
All Chevrolet vehicles were required to have five-spoke aluminum wheels and a chrome band up front, as part of the Bowtie brand's overall image.

GM 6.2L V8 claims most powerful light-duty truck engine title

General Motors has officially captured the horsepower crown for mainstream pickup trucks with its 6.2-liter V8. The big mill, available in both the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, comes to market with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, handily outdoing its two cross-town competitors, Ram (5.7-liter V8, 395 ponies and 407 lb-ft) and Ford (6.2-liter V8, 411 hp and 434 lb-ft).
The new GM 6.2 will take a bit of an investment, though. Those that want the extra thrust will need to go with either the LTZ or High Country trims from the Chevy, or the SLT and Denali trims from GMC, which are the two highest trim levels for the respective vehicles. Trim levels aside, if you're in the business of towing, GM has you covered. Optioned with the 6.2-liter V8 and the Max Trailering Package, owners will be able to pull 12,000 pounds, a hugely impressive figure.
We still aren't certain as to what sort of economy the new engine will get, but it'll probably be a bad bet for the fuel conscious. As for availability, expect to see the 6.2-liter trucks in showrooms later in the fall.

Was the C7 Corvette cut from Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime show?

Someone was bound to receive a free 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray during the Super Bowl XLVII festivities; it just wasn't who we thought it was going to be. Despite a report back in December that superstar Beyoncé Knowles would be getting an all-new Corvette during her halftime performance, that turned out not to be the case. Joe Flacco, starting quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, did in fact win a Corvette for his MVP performance.
So what transpired that prevented Beyoncé from rolling on stage in the new Chevrolet? Anyone who knows isn't telling, but according to Yahoo! Autos, General Motors said that for one reason or another a deal "did not work out," and it appears to have been an eleventh-hour change. Regardless of who's to blame or what prevented this from happening, we're sure Chevy has had no problems getting attention for the C7 Corvette since it was introduced last month.
