It runs and drives just fine and I do believe u can make it home no matter where u live, ( not a guarantee , but its ready to go) lets start with the good, glass is all factory tint and in great condition except a chip in the windshield, interior is all original and even has floor mat, and is in exceptionally nice shape, dash has one crack, and seat has a tear, all paint is original and has recently been buffed and the wood grain added, this in an excellent candidate for an easy restoration or just drive it like it is, ( you wont believe the looks I get) all the damage you can see......... 71000 miles, not sure if its 171000 but according to the wear its 71000............. the bad............. it has some usual chev rust but look, its really pretty dam nice for this age, has holes on each side of floor pans, but very , very workable, it has recently been tuned up with new plugs, wires, a carb, gasket, and exhaust, also a brake check, runs fine idles a bit fast but should get better with driving, tires are good to fair, bed has a couple small holes pictured, also cab corner, the good as is the underside, that's why I say an excellent candidate, or just drive it like its is........... THIS IS A VERY CLEAN ORIGINAL CHEV SHORTY now the ugly.............. wait for it............well..... there really isn't any ugly on this truck..............some minor dents and dings and some rust to deal or not to deal with but overall you will be happy.................... $500 paypal down payment immediately and the rest cash ,green stuff, when you get here, HERES THE BEST PART if you don't like for any reason U don't have to buy it but you will understandably loose your down payment................ not a bad, deal , forgot I also have the factory build sheet BID WITH CONFIDENCE ON THIS NICE COLLECTABLE SHORTBOX call if you have more questions.............. remember its 35 years old has a few dings, and some minor rust, but is road worthy and nice interior, and original non restored condition. Are you the 2014 Corvette Grand Sport?
Thu, 21 Feb 2013When are stripes more than just stripes? Follow up question: Is the product development team at Chevrolet really cocky enough to hide the next C7 Corvette variant in plain sight? This very recently spotted, and ostensibly obscured C7 asks a lot more questions than it answers, but there's at least some evidence to support that it might be the next Corvette Grand Sport.
The first and most obvious tip-off that something is up with this 'Vette revolves around those silver stripes. Obviously the stripes themselves don't necessarily denote a new model. However, when Chevy recently launched its "colorizer" website for the Stingray, there was no provision made for racing stripes - solid colors only.
Grand Sport exhibit number two is actually an incriminating lack of badges. The production Corvettes we've seen to date have all carried Stingray badges on their fenders, just behind the vent. The car seen in these images has no such badges, which is an intriguing omission on an car that looks like a production-spec vehicle otherwise.
Watch the live reveal of the 2014 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra [UPDATE]
Thu, 13 Dec 2012UPDATE: The trucks have been revealed. Click here for all of the official details.
As promised, Chevrolet and GMC are offering a live webcast of the world premiere for the all-new 2014 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500. After being teased with spy shots and blurry images like the one above for ages, now is the time to see the trucks in the metal, for real (well, as 'real' as it gets on a webcast, at any rate).
Shift your eyes down just below to see the reveal as it happens, starting at 9:30 AM EST. We anticipate having loads of images full technical information to share after the webcast, too, so truck aficionados should stay tuned. We'll also be bringing you live images of both trucks too, when we see them on the show floor at next month's Detroit Auto Show.
2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra show all their sides in Detroit
Tue, 15 Jan 2013There could hardly be more riding on the next-generation General Motors full-size pickup trucks, so the automaker has wisely made sure to have a selection of different models on hand at the Detroit Auto Show to show off. The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra were both officially introduced last month at a stand-alone reveal, and now they'll be on display for the public to see in various body configurations and trim levels.
The Silverado LTZ Crew Cab and Sierra SLE Extended Cab are aimed at providing more of a high-end pickup experience, while the Silverado LT Z71 Extended Cab and Sierra SLT Z71 Crew Cab should have off-road fans scouting out their favorite trails. The crew cab trucks won't go into production until sometime during the second quarter of this year - with other bodystyles coming later in the year - but we have plenty of live images from Detroit for you to enjoy.
