1955 chevy truck frame off rustoration...
Chassis-This truck is siting on a stock frame minus the nova front end for great handling and power steering with complete new disc brake setup as well as all new ball joints and other new parts.Rear is c notched with a complet flipped suspension and new shocks.Rides like a dream frame has also been completely blasted and por 15. all new fuel lines ran as well as break lines and all fastened to frame correctly. also has a new polished fuel cell with custom brackets for easily removing if necesarry.Frame also has a high volume fuel pump for the engine.Also has new rear bumper and brackets and there are tons of new bolts used to build the truck.
Wheels are stock steelies blasted and painted the original green of truck with powdered center caps and brand new tires and valve stems for a smooth ride.
Engine is a tuneport engine out of a camaro or corvette runs great and strong also has aluminum heads and lots of new parts runs a-1 also has 700r transmission for that go home gear with aftermarket torgue convreter for proper shifting.Also equipped with a tranny cooler and aluminum radiator and all new lines and hoses.Also equipped with new dual exhaust that sound awesome.
Body-is completely stock with an awesome patina from south dakota and a freshly painted fire wall engine compartment and intirrior.This truck was completely dismantled inside cab blasted and painted 2 toned and complete underneath of truck undercoated looks amazing underneath.

Supercharged, 6.2-liter V8? Check. Seven-speed manual? Check. Obsession with weight? Check.
What did you expect when Chevrolet said it was bringing a new Corvette variant to the 2014 New York Auto Show? Maybe a sticker and trim package, like the C6 Corvette Grand Sport or a tie-in deal like the Black Widow car from Chicago? On the opposite end, maybe there was an even more hardcore Z06 waiting in the wings. Who knew?
Chevrolet donates 300 vehicles damaged by Sandy to help train first responders
Thu, 28 Feb 2013Super Storm Sandy took out a lot of automobiles in its path of destruction through the Northeast last October. The number surpassed 250,000 at last count, and a few of those were owned by Chevrolet - cars either sitting on dealership lots or waiting at port to be shipped off. Rendered unsellable by the water damage inflicted by Sandy, these vehicles were facing the crusher. But Chevy didn't send them there.
Instead, Chevy had a better idea: It will be donating 300 of these vehicles damaged by Sandy to help train first responders at Guardian Centers in Perry, GA. Chevy is the official automotive partner of Guardian Centers, which is an 830-acre facility that trains first responders in disaster preparedness. Junked cars are practically a consumable commodity there, where a full-size cityscape simulator gives trainees an entire urban center in which to train for all sorts of rescue operations and disaster scenarios.
Chevy says its particular vehicles will be used "in conjunction with role players for wide area searches, traffic congestion in emergency situations, counter terrorism, public order and mass casualty exercises." While grim scenarios all, we're certainly glad there are people out there preparing for the unexpected. While a zombie apocalypse isn't officially on the list of potential disasters to prepare for, when the virus hits, we'll be hot-footing it to Perry, GA to hang with these guys and gals.
GM won't sell 2014 Chevrolet SS in Canada
Thu, 21 Feb 2013Allow us to be the first to extend our condolences to our friends to the north. General Motors has announced the 2014 Chevrolet SS will not be available in Canada. The Globe and Mail reports the automaker has confirmed the high-performance sedan won't hit Canadian dealers, though GM hasn't offered up any reasoning as to why that is.
Buyers here in the US of A, meanwhile, can look forward to getting their hands on the 415-horspower, rear-wheel drive SS by late summer. Something tells us it won't be long after that before Canadian officials start seeing individually imported 6.2-liter V8 four-doors in their neighborhoods. Fortunately, Canadian buyers will still be able to take home the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. The C7 bowed at the Canadian International Auto Show last week, reportedly drawing sizable crowds and interest.
