1954 Chevrolet 3100 1/2 ton pickup truck.****5 window design**** This truck is a great platform for a restore or kept as a rat rod. The truck and frame is an all original 3100, the rear end has been changed from the stock rear to a later model 10 bolt rear end and has been dropped 1.5" and the front has been lowered by the springs being un arched.. The floor pans, cab corners, and firewall are all solid and rust free there are a few small rust bubbles on the outside of the doors on the bottom (bubbles not holes).. The rear fenders are solid and contain no rust.  The bed of the truck shows rust in the front, tailgate and a few small areas in the side panels. Each part of this bed can be bought and bolted on to replace the rusted parts. The truck is seasoned well and has been made into a rat rod and parts truck for my business. The white wall tires were put on not to long ago and are in like new condition. The wheels are the factory wheels with the factory hubcaps.

The engine is a built 327 bored .040 with a thumper camshaft. The engine is a GM 327 block. It also has a edelbrock intake, carb and a reliable HEI distributor. The engine just had a full tuneup with new fuel pump, lines, filter, oil change, trans fluid change, new battery, new water pump and coolant flush.. The transmission is a built TH turbo 350 with a new 2060 stall converter. The engine has exhaust manifolds and full exhaust running out of the back of the truck with glasspack mufflers. 20 gallon fuel cell in the bed. ***SOUND VIDEO OF ENGINE***

This truck is a solid rat rod and was used for our parts truck for our fabrication business. Truck is driven 10-15 miles a day and driven on 80-100 mile trips a few times a month. The truck never runs over 195* in the Florida heat.

Truck has a clean FL title.

Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.

Man surprises girlfriend with C7 Corvette

Mon, 07 Oct 2013

How would you react if someone just showed up at your place of work with a new, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, complete with all the trimmings? While a lot of us would likely be flipping out over the still rare sports car, it's a fair bet many more of us would be responding like Pattie here, whose boyfriend stopped by her work to show her her new C7.
Speechless and shocked as she seems, she does end up taking it out for a drive, despite claiming she wasn't really outfitted to handle the car's seven-speed manual transmission at the time. From the sound of the video, we got the impression that she knew the car was coming, just not that it was anywhere near ready for delivery. It also, as Pattie says, seems like her boyfriend is more excited about the car than she (which, can we blame him?). Take a look down below for the full video of this C7 Stingray delivery.
