1953 Chevrolet 3/4 Ton Flatbed We found this truck on a farm in southern California. It had been used on the farm to move oranges
from orchid to barn. We got it from the original owner with 33 000 original
miles! As it was a California truck there was little to no rust. It got a frame off restoration including a new flatbed. The engine was perfect so we just replaced all cork gaskets
and intake exhaust gaskets, new carburetor and oil change. The original seat was perfect just a wash and it loos brand
new!!! New paint was done in two stages first a cream then a brown
and we sanded it to give the patina look then cleared it. Gauges were restored and all new chrome inside and out. New brake master and wheel cylinders. Converted from 6V to 12V incl new generator. New Fuel tank and all new lines. Would make a awesome advertising piece for a winery or
hardware or any business really. Need to sell to start next project. Call for any info 949

Chevy confirms Corvette Stingray Convertible for Geneva
Thu, 07 Feb 2013Want proof that General Motors has increased global ambitions for its 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray? It's staging the world premiere of the model's convertible variant at the Geneva Motor Show early next month.
As previously rumored, the droptop rendered above will debut at the Swiss show, making its first appearance anywhere on March 5. According to Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet, the location makes sense because Corvette "...is an icon that has long been recognized and admired even in countries where it's never officially been offered."
While neither Chevrolet nor the Corvette has a major sales presence in Switzerland, the Bowtie's European headquarters is located in Zurich (about three hours to the northeast of Geneva) and GM has made it clear that it wants to build the Chevrolet brand up across Europe.

As promised, Chevrolet and GMC are offering a live webcast of the world premiere for the all-new 2014 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500. After being teased with spy shots and blurry images like the one above for ages, now is the time to see the trucks in the metal, for real (well, as 'real' as it gets on a webcast, at any rate).
Shift your eyes down just below to see the reveal as it happens, starting at 9:30 AM EST. We anticipate having loads of images full technical information to share after the webcast, too, so truck aficionados should stay tuned. Chevy gets cracking on Cruze EV fleet testing

The Chevrolet Volt hasn't yet gone on sale, but General Motors is looking at ways of expanding its electric vehicle lineup. Chevy, along with partner LG, is employing a group of all-electric cars in the form of the Cruze. The sedans are part of a demonstration fleet which is located in Seoul, South Korea and is being used to provide data in an electric vehicle research project. The goal is to gather information on driving patterns and charging behavior in addition to consumer acceptance.
The Cruze EVs, along with some Daewoo Lacetti Premieres EVs, are the first fleet of full-size electric vehicles and should provide invaluable information for The General. Staying full-size means not sacrificing cargo space, so the battery pack is mounted to the underbody, leaving the trunk area open for plenty recyclable, canvas grocery bags.
