1935 Chevy truck cab, what is for sale is only the truck cab that you see in the pictures. This was built about 1 year ago, and was finished into a running driving truck, and then the guy decided he wanted something different and pulled the cab off the chassis and started building another body and I got the cab from him with the intention of using it, but I have way to many projects now so its for sale. The cab has been chopped, it has suicide doors, smooth firewall, and its body dropped. When it was on a tub chassis it sat really low. The motor that was used was a small block Chevy and the exhaust was ran down and under the front edge of the cab for a different look. It does have a front and back glass in it that appears to be very good, matter of fact the front glass still folds out. The cab still has its cowl vent installed and functional. The dash in the cab appears to be the original dash that came with the truck just painted yellow now. All the floors and tunnel are all made out of steel. The truck does come with the seat cushions all made, and you could always just have them recovered to your liking. In the center of the seats is a chrome hood ornament which adds a cool feature to the truck. The truck has also had a roll bar added to behind the seats in the back of the cab for added safety. Like I said this is just for the truck cab, its had a load of work already done to it, and you could basically just sit it right on your frame and go if you wanted. Its a great looking cab and would make someone a great rat rod. The truck cab is for sale locally and is subject to be taken off Ebay if sold. The truck is also sold as is with no warranty.  The truck cab is also sold on bill of sale only. A 25% deposit is due within 3 days of the auctions end and the balance within 7 more when the truck is to be picked up or arrangements are made for the truck to be shipped. If you have any questions about the truck cab, please fill free to ask and I will gladly answer them to the best of my ability. Thanks and God Bless Kody 251-454-5455

NHTSA could add 1M cars to GM recall

Wed, 13 Mar 2013

The Detroit Free Press is reporting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration may expand a recall campaign for faulty brake lamps. The agency is currently looking into complaints that certain 2004-2011 Chevrolet Malibu models as well as some 2007-2009 Saturn Aura sedans may have brake lights that do not illuminate when the driver presses the pedal. Alternatively, the lamps may also illuminate without input from the driver. General Motors recalled 8,000 Pontiac G6 models from the 2005 model year for the same problem, and NHTSA is currently investigating whether to add 550,000 more G6 models built between 2005 and 2009 to the list for the same issue.
In addition, investigators are currently examining 97 complaints from Malibu and Aura owners with the same trouble. If NHTSA adds those models to the recall campaign, more than one million units could be covered. GM, meanwhile, says there have been no accidents or injuries as a result of the problem.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Convertible offers a few more views before reveal

Mon, 04 Mar 2013

Over the weekend, Chevrolet released its first images of the new 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible. Now, ahead of the droptop's official introduction tomorrow at the Geneva Motor Show, the automaker has given us a few more shots of the softop C7 showing off the car's rump albeit from a high, strategically positioned angle.
From this angle, it's hard to get a sense for how long and flat the decklid really is, but we can easily see that, like the rest of the C7's design, the new convertible's decklid and tonneau cover are far more detailed than the current car. We also get a better look at the rear haunches sans brake vents, which have apparently been moved to underneath the car in order to accommodate the top's hard cover.
As for the overall styling of the C7 convertible, with the top erected, we get some idea of what a coupe design (as opposed to the Stingray's fastback shape) would look like on this car. The C5 Corvette most recently had a coupe model that did away with the large glass hatchback, and we recently reported on a low-cost "coupe" model potentially being added to the C7's repertoire.

2014 Chevrolet SS makes its live debut

Sat, 16 Feb 2013

Chevrolet showed off the new 2014 SS in an airport hangar last night, its first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan in the US since the Impala SS from 1997. We'll have more to say about the SS later today, but this is the sedan that Chevrolet sees as the final piece in restoring its performance credentials. For those of you looking for a manual transmission, however, that wish will go unfulfilled - at least for now: the only two options buyers will have are the color and whether or not they want a sunroof.
We'll work on getting some more angles (in better light) today at Daytona International Speedway, but with fans seeing the car for the first time, we don't hold out much luck of getting a clear shot. So for now, enjoy the high-res gallery above.
