1970 Chevrolet Nova
Rebuilt Engine, less than 5,000 miles ago, with a 454 big block which is bored 60 over. The 454 has a 427 forged steel cank, 10-10, Eagle Scat H beam rods, with TRW forged pistons 12/1. It has a Pete Jackson gear drive and the heads are H.O. rectangle port 990 big plug. The cam is a 427-435 HP blue printed with a solid roll lifter. The 454 has an HV oil pump, Wiend Team G intake manifold with a Holley 750 double pump carburetor. The 454 has a Mallory 3748201 Unilite high performance distributor.
The Nova has an aluminized exhaust with Fllow master mufflers. The transmission is a Muncie M21 pro shifted with Hurst super shifter, using an HD clutch. The Nova has a 12 bolt positraction rear end with 373 highway gears.
There is no heater, the wiper motor is removed, and the Sun Tack which works, is currently not hooked up.
The body is rust free, however the paint is not show quality. It is a thirty footer. Meaning it looks great from 30 feet, up close it's rough. There's a small area above one wheel, damaged (see picture) and paint imperfections overall. Will definitely need a paint job.
The trunk is rust free. The engine sounds awesome, has a new transmission. We purchased for a few years ago and sunk total of $28,224.23 into the car, including labor. Whoever is looking for a fun project, this is it. All the expensive stuff is done! I'll be including the receipts for parts with the car.
I'm selling this for my husband!! Stay calm, all you haters out there. He really loves this car and would choose to keep it. But, we'd like to use the money towards a down payment on a house. We're starting the price low to get the bidding started.
I made a video with my son. First time operating the camera! I'm talking about is the camera on "automatic"! I'm not talking about the car. The Nova is obviously manual transmission. Thanks for asking. see it on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KIKeHD8skWU&feature=youtu.be
Thank you and Happy Bidding!!

Corvette Stingray Shooting Brake under consideration by Callaway [w/poll]
Mon, 18 Mar 2013Callaway has released a few renderings of a design study for a shooting brake version of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The company says it wants to create a long-roof version of America's sports car to offer buyers more interior room and a vehicle with "unique style." The company says it will use structural carbon fiber for the new body bits, which suggests the conversion shouldn't add too much more weight to the Corvette. Along with a few mechanical tweaks, the Callaway Corvette Stingray AeroWagon could breeze past the 200 miles per hour barrier.
Provided that they get enough interest, Callaway estimates they will be able to effect the changes on the Chevrolet for around $15,000, and says the conversion work should be available through its network of dealers. You can check out the brief press release below for more information, or head over to the Callaway site to plunk down a deposit - but before you do, we want to know... do you find this C7 wagon interesting? Vote in our poll below, then feel free to leave a few lines in Comments.

Supercharged 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 takes the C7 beyond the ZR1
Mon, 13 Jan 2014
The Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
